If I don't do anything physical I'll feel like I'm going insane, like a dog who no one will play with. Once you stop being sedentary there is no going back.
So, I usually go for a hike or a swim on my rest days. I've thought about maybe shooting hoops as well though I'm a bit embarrassed the black guys will make fun of me for sucking at it.

I lift 4 days a week and do cardio on off days. If I don't exercise every day I feel guilty or lazy desu.
lol fuck no, you should be getting active in some way everyday. I either do cardio, lift but with less weight, or just do something active like go hiking or ride my bike around the city.
If your job involves sitting at a desk it's even more important that you seek out activity on your off time. 3 hours of lifting a week are NOT going to offset the damage done by 8 hours of sitting, not to mention however long you spend at the computer/TV. In fact, lifting is supposed to COMPLEMENT an active lifestyle, not replace it.

aaand I just remembered how much I miss swimming. FUCK, I wish I had a pool nearby.
Part time student and working half the week so i usually only get to workout a couple days a week during the summer. The very least I will do will be play with my dog everyday. He's at that crisp age of 1.5 yrs, so 30-40 mins of cardio to me is a cake walk for him.
Outside of some light walking maybe, yes. 4 day lifting, 2 days jog/walk, 1 rest.

Good sleep is rest enough. Maybe a jump rope and calisthenics day every couple of weeks if I'm burnt out, but then again if I'm burnt out, I'd do that while trying to improve my recovery.
Obviously doing a split of some sort. Like Upper/Lower or PP(L/X). Not advocating full body everyday just to be extra clear.

Are you OP trying to tell people not to take rest days (which I count as basically no lifting and no "cardio." Normal light walking or similar is fine)? If so, post bod MR. no rest days.

When I am too busy for exercise or it's sports season I make sure to take my supplements each day to feel normal. Otherwise it's 24/7 until injury
I try to fuck on my off days off. I don’t have a GF nor want one. I like the chase, especially when they cheat on they’re dudes with me.
