The majority of the 300+ books I own were bought for a dollar or less from Goodwill, garage sales, and library clean out sales. I like the way they look, smell, and feel way better than reading off a screen. Some books in my collection were printed over a hundred years ago, so that's pretty neat.There's undoubtedly more books that have been printed than have been digitized, meaning there's a wider range of material to collect. Also, I never have to worry about the GOVERNMENT sending a virus to my PC or tablet CENSORING what I'm able to read on them, like a digital Fahrenheit 451

I never read books on a computer, kindle, phone, tablet etc. I just prefer the feel of a book in my hands and I find it more comfortable to read too. Also there's no chance for a real book to ever run out of power and require charging.

Its neat, it brings up a super interesting topic, but I don't think its fully explored by Campbell. Its about how pervasive hero myths are throughout the world, similarities in stories about heroic journeys, and why societies have them.
I felt like it could have gone deeper on what heroes actually represent, and the power that myths and legends have in forming the views that societies come to hold.
