Wish I wasn't a zoomer so I could reply to these threads. I'm a student though. freshman(uni)

On disability for mental illness, but before that I was a carpenter for 10 years which I loved. Now I just lift weights and play videogames and read everyday, and hang out with my dog and girlfriend and go visit and hang out with my old man who lives about an hour away.

It gets old and shitty tho boys, stopped "enjoying" it very fast and just started to feel like a useless parasitic manchild. It was nice to work hard and earn a paycheque and pay my own way through life. Had a lot more self-respect.

Now I'm looking at going back to school for something fulfilling that I can do from home or part time.

I go to law school, on my 3rd semester. Starting to regret it, dream was always to study either Political Science or International Relations, but was too much of a pussy for the low amount of jobs. Any advice, was I coward Jow Forums?

why dont you just call a contractor and work under the table a couple hours a week? thats what I do, get my NEETbux from the government and make about $400 a week untaxed on top of it. if you have a truck you could also look on craigslist in the moving sections, a lot of people will pay $50-250 for a saturday morning to help move their crap out of one apartment to a new one

i dont even want to talk about what i do. i dont even tell people because of how humiliating it is. it isnt something outright humiliating, like if my job was "professional cuck" or something, but the type of job i do is just humiliating for my age and education level. every day i go to work i feel like a literal retard, like one of those fast food jobs a person with down syndrome gets to integrate them into society.

Geospatial analyst with the government. Mostly build and maintain geodatabases, but I process a lot a drone imagery too. Can't wait to run out my contract and go into the private sector....

Geotechnical Engineer on a mine site in remote Australia.

I make insane money but fuck its lonely, and i have to fill 12 hour days with like 4 hours worth of work. When i get back to my little room at night im too wiped to do any excercise so i just eat ice cream and browse Jow Forums. When i have my 6 days in the city every fortnight i have to work out as much as i can to undo the effects of a sedentary worklife.

>When i get back to my little room at night im too wiped to do any excercise
The trick to this is to work out right after you wake up, before you go to work. It takes a little getting used to, but ultimately you'll feel more energized throughout your days and just crash when you get home.

Eng student. Currently doing research with memechains

Listen pal, I'm 35, and i saw some shit. It does not matter what you graduated into. I saw law school guys going to work in the showbusiness, italian litteraturers going to earn big money as boss of hospitals, matematicians going to work for international ong.
What is important is WHAT COMES NEXT your graduation, do experience, BUILD A NETWORK, keep in touch with friends and collegues, do random shit that you, at the moment, think will not matter, if somebody offers you, out of the blue, a crazy opportunity, just jump on that.

Man this is nice to hear. Thanks for the advice brother. In med school, but don’t think I want clinical medicine. Thank you

How?

Machine Operator. Basically push buttons on a computer screen and do some mild manual labor. Pretty uninteresting. I want something more engaging and interesting but I cant afford schooling at this point and most jobs I'm qualified for are as bland and boring as my current one.

Not sure what to do.

schoolteacher in the special needs class with focus on autism

Studied Geography and mapmaking (GIS) in college. Now work in the urban planning department of one of the fastest growing cities in the country. Nuclear pharmacy? I saw job openings in WI for nuclear pharmacist. That's what I do.

Graduated from chemical engineering, doing data quality engineering work with a major bank. How did you acquire a data scientist role? Looking to go from the quality engineering to a more software or analyst/scientist role. Pay is good for quality engineering, but I often work for 1 out of 5 days of the week then browse Jow Forums the rest of the week while the other teams get their shit together.

Ophthalmology technician

This. Being entrenched in the private sector, I can confirm networking and keeping lines of communication open is 75% of the battle. I can't tell you how many ex employees from my company are still friends with current employees and they call each other all the time asking if they know anyone to fill a job for them or for a friend of a friend.
