Most women that are mentally sound prefer to seek out female friends. The exceptions are females with male dominated interests/hobbies but even then the women try to stick together if they find each other.

Hello, I enjoy being friends with women but men as well. I am an INFJ. I think and feel at the same time but only up until recently my feeling was blocked because of a painful childhood. Men use activity-based bonding which I mostly engaged in, and women use emotion-based bonding. I value both now and engage in both, but for more than half my life it was with male friends, from childhood. I also equally enjoyed both male and female activities in childhood, but eventually became more tomboy then to overtly feminine then back to a balance of both energies.
