Confess my children

was too tired from yesterday and missed my swimming session

>Weight down 24% (73lbs)
>Total Cholesterol down 12%
>Triglycerides down 31%
>LDL down 6%
all good...but then
>HDL down 15%
>Cardiac Risk Factor up 4%
How did my chance to have a heart attack go up?!

how much it was before?

maybe you started doing cardio for the first time in your life fatty?

It went from 5.3=>5.6

Weird. Perhaps you crossed some invisible age treshold where statistically blablabla according to your weight

Just downloaded MyFitnessPal and I don't like a few things

1: you can't set a goal date
2: you can't set your own Max calories per day

If there is a way please tell me.

>lose a bunch of weight
>just enough to be on the upper limit of healthy BMI
>literally 24
>everyone keeps calling me "skinny" and tells me its not healthy
>fuck the haters imma keep going
>need to lose another 15 to be right in the middle of healthy weight

I did it guys, guess that means its time for me to go. Good luck to all of you.

See you on the outside.

Cronometer is better

You care to give examples? I have no issue switching to something better but you just saying it's better isn't much of a reason.

You can change the calories and macro ratios in myfitnesspal just go to goals and type in the calories and adjust the percentages.

90% of people who complain about mfp are just people who don’t know how to use mfp...

You can't set a goal date but you can set your daily calories. It's in the Goals section

Attached: Screenshot_20180801-023804.png (1080x1920, 118K)

It's calculated by dividing your total cholesterol by your HDL. My cholesterol dropped, but my HDL (good cholesterol) dropped more than my ldl (bad cholesterol)

>90% of people who complain about mfp are just people who don’t know how to use mfp...

It's almost like I said I didn't know if it had that ability or not. Thanks user for telling me, I'll go change it.
Also
>Assuming I know a damn thing about macros or care.

I find mfp to be better for brand name stuff and the social aspect (streaks, etc).

I find chronometer to be better for standard stuff, charts, and micronutrients.

I use both.

Thanks aswell user

fucking FINALLY

I drank more liquor than I had alloted, also went to McDonalds two consecutive breakfasts

Have been on the gym routine for 1 month now and haven't missed a planned day.

There's so many factors that go into weight. It's not a reliable indicator of if you've stored fat, especially within only 4 days

Remember what your working twords, don't let the weak make you falter, you can make it

Can you plateau on CICO?
I'm not eating anywhere near matience but my weight loss has really started to stall.
Over the past 2 weeks I should have lost about 2.5kg but I've only lost about 1.2kg.
This is really killing my motivation ;_;

After 2 weeks with no alcohol, i destroyed my streak with 4 beer and pizza on monday and 6 beer on tuesday. Time to start over again.

Water weight, human error, lower activity level

I'll try and be alot more strict with myself then
I'm sure I'm not eating anywhere near as much as my weight is telling me so maybe I'm eating things that keep me retaining alot of water.

lol @ you

It's that hard to try something for yourself and form an opinion?

You SEEMED capable of doing it with MyFitnessPal in the first place, did you run out of trying?

>47082091
Thanks for a (you) none for (you) though

If MyFitnessPal works why would I try something else without reason too? He said it's better but that's only his opinion, I asked for factual examples and none were given so I have no reason to try it.

I'm not that guy but see my other post Both have their strengths/weaknesses

See this is what I wanted, thank you dog for the Info, I appreciate it. May whoever you believe in bless your gains

Worst part of making it loss weight wise is gym and being pathetically weak (office rat) and Having no gym buddies.

look into refeed days if you are lifting heavy

I miscalculated my carbs yesterday, woke up out of keto and feeling shitty. What should I do /fat/her?

lost some good 15 kg on keto + omad. started lifting in April, 2017 too. after an injury somehow fell back to eating processed carbs again and now I feel like a junkie and I'm gaining back some kgs. Halp.

>just don't eat lmao
how do I do it bros, I can only make it a day and a half or so at best before I break and eat some shit

Attached: INTERNALANGER.png (993x531, 516K)

Haven't been exercising regularly or counting calories for a week now, although I've eaten pretty healthily otherwise.

>that feeling when you need to use smaller pants or puncture a new hole in your belt

We're all going to make it despite our sins.

Why does every food I love have to have shit ton of genetics in it? This is suffering

Attached: 1533095790966.jpg (638x954, 175K)

I can't believe I've never taken the ketopill before. It completely ended snacking, hunger, and I've only been able to eat 1000cals a day. Shame it's not very sustainable.
My question is, if I do a week on a week off of keto (or maybe weekdays keto and weekends CICO) I'll still get most of the benefits right?

How am I doing bros
left was sometime last year at something like 250~lbs
right is today at 203lbs

I started at 322lbs and my goal is 177lbs

Attached: progress.jpg (3680x3264, 3.61M)

I've been tracking my measurements along with my weight (38-28-40), and I haven't lost anything off my hips in months. My bust and waist have shrunk, should I worry about ending up bottom-heavy?

Doing well so far, just make sure you don't fall at the final hurdle.

LOL I just ate about 100g sugar in one go. Gonna crash soon brb

eat a 1000 calorie deficit, and keep exercising. you can fast as long as you stick to 1k calorie deficit when you stop fasting

you are probably just addicted to the insulin rush the shitty food gives you

>weekdays keto and weekends CICO
this sounds better than the other option.
>Shame it's not very sustainable
Why do you think so?

Doctor just told me my lipid count is above average
I'm 26, 6'2" and 240lbs

Attached: 1533061427679.jpg (1280x720, 84K)

I'm already 40 hours into a fast, should I keep going? I'm not feeling hungry, I'm fact I'm feeling pretty damn fine so I figured I should just keep on fasting.
Don't wanna die tho, but I'm shedding weight like damn

>make sure you don't fall at the final hurdle

What is the final hurdle?

>Don't wanna die
you won't. you can fast up to 7 days straight paying no special attention to it.

Gotcha, I'll attempt 88 hours, which is more than double where I'm at right now. Hope I'll be ok.

>people

Look in the mirror and ask your self "is this really what I want to maintain?"

Your heading in the right direction bro

Hey anons! I hope everyone has been having a successful week of weight lose and good lifts! Remember we are halfway through the week, and a little closer each day to our goals. Remember, we are all gonna make it!

Body looking decent but you can tell you are a former fatty, start lifting it will help tremendously.

Was out late, was tired, and weak and ended up eating a Jack in the Box homestyle chicken sandwich and some eggrolls; because it was all that was open. It was actually pretty decent too, which made me feel even more like a pile of shit.

Attached: 1442000983780.gif (200x163, 137K)

With that bust I assume female? If so are you doing butt work outs, glutes, quads, etc, if so that's why.

Fat fuck here sitting at a BMI of 28/29. I hit 20 a few months ago but recently I got the motivation to hit the gym.
I've always been really insecure over my shit tier height (5'6) and I wanted to know if its possible to grow taller even at my age if I start making drastic dietary and lifestyle changes.

I have been lifting for the past year or so. Stronglifts and Greyskull.
I'm only eating 1500 a day though so it gets hard sometimes

I ate five or six rice krispie treats in one sitting last night because I was bored

I'm having trouble with stress eating because I am avoiding my responsibilities because theyre too stressful to even address. Adulthood is so daunting I hate it

me

They're not worth the momentary satsifaction you know you'll feel like shit afterwards.

How do I quit the bread jew? That shit makes up 10% of my calories.

Attached: article-2517333-19CD298000000578-772_634x671.jpg (634x671, 129K)

just eat less dude bro man
I only eat two slices a day

Are you eating white bread? Switch to whole wheat

If you're eating whole wheat then what are you eating it with? Sandwiches? Switch up your meals so that sandwiches or whatever you're eating it with isn't a part of your day.

But honestly whole wheat bread ain't that bad

Lifted

Ate pizza

>600 calories ez

>Got 1100 calories left

Hold me bois

Instead of eating bread, the trick is to not eat bread.

Removing bread and other carby shit helps cut calories so much it's ridiculous.

>Breakfast:
>4 poached eggs - 370 calories
>4 bacon rashers - 180 calories
If I'd grabbed a bacon and egg sandwich from the shop on the way to work that would have been 600 calories and I'd be hungry again in 2 hours. With this I have to remember to eat at lunch time.

>Lunch:
>hunters sausage - 250 calories
>50g cheese - 200 calories
>Apple - 80 calories
Cheese and apples are kino lunch. And I'm not a keto fag so I'm fine with fruit, but that's not exactly "carbs" is it? The slav section of the supermarket usually has a bunch of cooked sausages and shit so I get some for lunch.

>Dinner:
>190g turkey breast steak - 260 calories
>corn on the cob - 80 calories
>greenbeans - not really worth counting

lmao 1490 calories. Fuck bread.

>another nojak thread

I have been eating like shit for the last three weeks, and my weight has been stagnating at 85-86 kilos because of it. I've been doing this for 3 months now, and I almost made it, too. What do I do, bros?

Go stare in the mirror for 15 minutes. Set a timer. You’ll know at the end

Ive been on a 1500 cal ish deficit and the last 1.5 weeks ive just stalled on the scale. But i feel like my subcutanious fat has been changing. Its more 'full' and 'dense' now and there seems to be less of it.

I hear the term 'autophagy' with fasting, could this be occuring cause im doing a modified fast with protein?

Ive lied about my numbers so i can seem like im doing more impressive lifts on an anonymous armenian cockroach breeding forum

Forgive me father

MFP has progressively gotten worse over the years (bugs, stuff that was free got pushed to the pay app, etc) and they just had a major data breach a couple of months ago. Fuck that.

I use it to keep track of calories and macros then every monday move that data to my open office spreadsheet. I have all my foods entered and itd be a pain to switch to something else for me.

agreed. and cronometer doesnt seem to work well for me. it feels like there's room for a competitor to appear. software dev is my job and i've been thinking about making something to fill the gap. would anyone be interested, or suggest features that they'd like to see in some kind of calorie tracking app that other apps don't have (for free)? i basically want to know if there's demand elsewhere and it's worth my time.

Well fuck it, failed because I couldn't resist eat some musli. Oh well, 40ish hours fasting ain't that bad anyway, and I've broken the fast with good food.

>would anyone be interested, or suggest features that they'd like to see in some kind of calorie tracking app that other apps don't have (for free)

If I were to switch to anything their database of stored foods must be very large, and have a scanning feature/phone app. That'd be my minimum to try some other service. A website that isn't down often is a plus. Strong tools to manipulate your own data would be nice, too.

Built in diet plans for the various meme diets that can give you demo meals that fit all macros and to fill your month's up with would be nice. Include recipes and places to buy ingredients for dumb newbies.

How long does it take you to shit after eating? I've been fasting for the last 3 days and today, some 2 hours ago, I've had a large nutritious meal. Went to the gym, came back home and already took a nice slick shit. Before I turned my life around to a more healthy lifestyle, I used to barely shit every 2-3 days. Does fasting, intermittent fasting, healthy meals and exercise increase shit making potential? I don't eat a lot of fiber either (in fact I'm debating I should eat more fibrous stuff like roots and oats and cut a little from carbs)

my meals take about 18 hours to digest from what I can tell. I eat a lot of fiber and poop 1-4 times a day.

Is cutting most of my incoming carbohydrates a viable strategy for weight loss? I am already counting calories and I understand that calories in and out is the most important thing but can the nutrients affect my weight loss? A large portion of my daily food is carbs and I've been wondering about this.

by strong tools to manipulate your data, do you have any precise examples? things like that are easily done.
a large database is pretty much only possible with the crowdsourcing method that MFP employs, but scanning is no problem, assuming the product is in the database.
i was definitely thinking of incorporating various ways to calculate your macros, support for fast days, all the meme shit. and no complaining when your calories are too low. again meme shit like that isn't terribly difficult, so i'm not sure why they aren't part of MFP, outside of them thinking they need to take a moral stance rather than just being a tool.
built in recipes is a cool idea, though i'm not sure how practical it is outside of the typical crowdsourcing for data. so any small community would struggle.

There are a few strategies out their that manipulate your macros to achieve weightloss.

Most of us consume high amounts of protein to keep muscle while working out for example.

The body is complicated and cutting carbs can lead to a different form of fatloss for certain people.

Here is a book on Keto:
dropbox.com/s/cedi5fy0dsobk4v/The Ketogenic Diet-McDonald.pdf?dl=0
Here is a book on low cal Keto:
ironmagazine.com/ebooks/The_Rapid_Fat_Loss_Handbook.pdf

>by strong tools to manipulate your data, do you have any precise examples?

Right now I move everything from MFP into a spreadsheet where I can make up graphs. I calculate the rate of fatloss per week or per any amount of days. I can calculate averages calories for a range. If I want I can find my bf% and compare it to my weight loss and figure out how much of that was fat or muscle.

>built in recipes is a cool idea, though i'm not sure how practical it is outside of the typical crowdsourcing for data. so any small community would struggle.

Lot of bodybuilders like to meal plan for up to a month and cook and freeze all the food they'll eat on a weekend. They can figure out different meals that fit into their daily macros and have x-amount of meals a day. There is a lot more upfront calculations and a lot less daily keeping track.

There are bodybuilding cookbooks that your can copy data from such as this:
dropbox.com/s/pdoxe7yh3mchbhe/Anabolic_Cooking_Cookbook.pdf?dl=0

Using these recipes figuring out the micro and macros needed for the various diets, a system could be designed to perfectly create a meal plan spanning months and months if the user keeps inputting bodyweight data and follows the meals. The user should be able to ban certain types of food he doesn't like, delete a type of meal that keeps showing up..etc. Sort of like a do-it-yourself meal-planning companies for users.

Also a bunch of meals from cookbooks have already been entered into MFP, don't know the legality of swiping that sort of data.

>system could be designed to perfectly create a meal plan spanning months and months
that's really interesting. i know very little about that side of things though, as a fat guy. i'll start doing some research.

>Also a bunch of meals from cookbooks have already been entered into MFP, don't know the legality of swiping that sort of data.
i do believe scraping publicly available data is legal. but i don't think MFP makes its data public, I.E. accessible without an account. whatever the odds they're on shaky grounds as it's mostly people typing data the read off the labels into their website.

anyway thanks for the ideas, i'll keep considering things and might start to work on something in a few weeks time.

This is me right now.
My goal/dream is to begome a fitness model.
Please bully me or encourage me so i gather energy to do it.

If you want it bad enough, you can do it

I'm looking forward to getting my dick back too, embrace it senpai

I do this and it works

I'll add a couple more things that popped into my head in case you're still lurking:

You can ask users to rate recipes by taste, ease of making, price. And can use that data to better create meal plans.

Maybe also offload the burden of creating the perfect macros for all the various meme diets on users. Have a user define the scope of the macros they want, some tools to define when they want to do refeeds, cheat days (every 10 days every Wednesday, after 5pm eat food) etc.

Have the user meme diets available for others to easily copy and maybe rate, and promote the popular ones. Users will be able to make the perfect meal plan for themselves and your system will be able to pull recipes for that fit, and the arduous task of researching this stuff will be delegated and power users will have more freedom.

ate 2 slices of cake and a whole bag of those kettle cooked potato chips last night
