Anyone have a good way to make cottage cheese not taste revolting after a few bites?

Anyone have a good way to make cottage cheese not taste revolting after a few bites?

The first like 3 bites are delicious but get worse as I begin to finish it. I tried adding salsa and hot sauce to it and it sorta helps but wondering if there’s a better way.

French onion soup mix

Huh I’ll give it a shot.

I think it tastes delicious as is, you can put it on/in everything.
>Put it on bread, mix it with tuna, mix it with lentils, mix it with beef, put it on crackers

Try a cottage cheese from another company, there are a lot of different tastes. I like only one specific, the rest is awful after a few bites.

Which one do you buy? I'm normally at the mercy at whatever is at my chowhall but I might consider buying my own.

Taco spice mix. Seriously amazing.

Salt, peper, olive oil
I add paprika sometimes

>bread
>lentils
>crackers

Never gonna make it.

The most fit way aka protein overdose is to heat it in a pan, heat it up till the water evaporates, put eggs there ( as much as you need), then put one can of tuna there. Mix it up, and voila its finished. Its not the best looking, but if you arent a girl its okay. You can further enhance it with putting some hot tomato sauce there, and make some pasta with it. Voila- you have now a good tasting menu, ~95 gr. of Protein (1 can of tuna around 40gr. protein, 3 eggs around 30gr. and cottage cheese which gives additional 20-30gr.) and dont forget its from 3 different sources which is even better.

yeah don't eat it it's disgusting and so are people who eat it

Add a scoop of protein powder and it’s like a lumpy pudding

Here's an idea.
Stop eating food that tastes like shit.
Literally get any kind of protein powder, mix it with water, alongside some banana and cinamon.
Enjoy your tasty high protein meal.
Cottage cheese is fucking trash, absolute garbage meme food that is shilled by retards that have 0 creativity when it comes to food prep.

Cottage cheese tastes literally like string cheese, why are you such a pussy

just eat quark with zero calorie concentrated strawberry juice like a normal human being - it tastes like ice cream

Since that one user mentioned to put it in your eggs just before they're done cooking, I have been experimenting with it.

If you wait too late and it becomes a topping to your eggs...fuck. You dun goofed unless you enjoy the taste/texture nightmare.

If you add it while the eggs are still soupy, you're going to burn the fuck out of your pan...but who doesn't like burned cheese?

There literally is a sweet spot in which to add the cottage cheese to eggs. You have to have some semblance of a "done" egg but it still has to be loose enough to be able to mix/combine with the cheese. You will get water (whey) cooking out of the cottage cheese after adding (because you're still cooking your egg) but don't let that scare you.

If you get it right, it really isn't bad. I can tolerate two heaping tablespoons for four eggs before the texture starts making me think i'm chewing on a jellyfish.

Add honey or jam.

Scrambled eggs still hot with a half cup of cottage cheese makes a nice cold/hot concoction.

Another thing I like, hear me out:
>1 cup cottage cheese in bowl
>2 tbsp peanut butter/PB2 if you're cutting
>cut up a goddamn banana

I've had very different experiences to you user. When I throw cottage cheese into scrambled eggs, it doesn't really matter when I do it: it seems to immediately melt and I can't tell the difference at all.

THIS. Cottage cheese on a rice cracker with some good quality organic jam or honey is the fucking bomb

Try to get the one with the most protein and least sugar. I found a store brand that is 5€ for 1200g, 13g/100g protein at 93kcal/100g. Just go to a supermarket and try all the brands first. And don't buy and low fat shit. You won't make it if you can't afford a few more calories for better taste.

Make your own. A lot of companies cheat and make ones that taste very bland.

Based.
Cringe.

salt, pepper, tomatoes, its delicious

I can eat half a kilo of that in one no without adding anything.
i havent had it in ages actually.

Make a salad
Raw onions
Tad bit if garlic
Load of tomatoes chopped to pieces
Cottage cheese

Surprisingly good

Best homemade pancakes I've ever made can't even taste the cottage cheese and I use honey instead of syrup.

Helps that my dad is also a bee keeper for free honey.

I eat cotton cheese with slices of tomato (and salt and chili).

I was going to suggest (scotch) pancakes as well; it works well. If you want something quicker, you could also try something like a high-protein yogurt (e.g. Fage) + nuts/seeds + tsp of cocoa powder + honey.

What he said.
I buy one for 1 buck per 200 gram, there are some that taste worse than others.

In general I think salt and pepper is good

Just throw some berries in it when you want something sweet.

Mix it with tuna, a lil' bit of mayo, some chopped pickles and pepper if you want savory.

I've always just ate it with some sweet canned fruit, like peaches or pineapples.

I always put small slices of garlic in mine.

It tastes great what are you talking about?
Garlic powder and paprika is good for it.

Its a great topping for vegetables like broccoli and carrots, throw some mozarella cheese on while youre at it

I swear by the eastern European special I was brought up with:
>Salt
>Diced radishes
>Optional horesradish mustard and/or vegetable stock
That's it

I hardboil eggs, chop the eggs into thin slices. Then mix the cottage cheese in with some mayo and a bit of mustard.

Pinapple or whatever other fruit you like

I usually just add a spoonful of basil or thyme per lb and mix if I want it as a savory thing.

Peanut butter or coconut shavings with sweetner/honey/sugar if I want it as a dessert.

T V A R O H

1 tsp of peanut butter and 10g of unsweetned cocoa powder.
