always feel compelled to say this but if you are in school in an english speaking country go make friends with korean guys first. international students always come trying to broaden horizons and learn how to speak english like a native but end up sticking with other international students because of the similarities they share. the guys will be very grateful to you and likely invite you to eat/drink with them. if they invite you to drink you will likely meet their qt friends and the entire tight knit korean community shortly after

it'll obviously help and yeah if you cant speak english properly despite being a native they might not want to be your friend but i've met plenty of guys who have been here for years and haven't learned an ounce of english that are desperate. i try and teach them/speak english with them myself but we always revert back to korean because it feels unnatural

The university I went to has a long running exchange program with a Korean uni, so every semester there were quite a few Korean students in the library etc. In all honesty, those girls were the most beautiful I've ever seen in my entire life. Their skin was so smooth and even, you couldn't see any pores when you stood next to them. (and no, it wasn't caked make-up) and their eyes were so deep and 'lively' if that makes sense. Like every other eyes you've seen until that point looked pale and dead inside in comparison. Their hair was so healthy and their figures slim but feminine. I really think Korean girls are the prettiest in the world.

I couldn't even believe that such people existed IRL I mean they were so perfect, it made me feel even more unworthy and uglier than usual. But one time it was really great... I was sitting in the library lobby with some people having coffee and I told a joke in a silly voice mimicking a girl and doing weird spastic moves, and they laughed. In that moment a super qt Korean grill turned her head, smiled and looked me in the eye for a second. That moment burned into my memory and I will never forget that cute smile and how her eyes reflected the light. It was like looking directly into the sun.
