What do you expect from a group of people who only care about lifts that require posterior chain?

Keep coping hard, losers. The guy knows how the shit is.

>literal nu-males and tumblerinas ACTUALLY taking his class

Please for the love of god nobody read the sticky, Texas method master race for beginners

Also can anyone certify his self proclaimed lifts?
>I was never a good lifter. I was 622 (squat), 396 (bench), and 633 (deadlift). People don’t pay me to lift weights. People pay me to teach them how to lift weights
Or is it typical boomer delusion that is the equivalent of
>yeah back in the day I used to be able to bench twice that!

Those arnt very good lifts for some who lifted intensely for a decade user.

isn't it amazing how they put mark rippetoe on the front cover of powerlifting usa magazine?

That's not a picture of mark rippetoe

Because you don't have to lift a lot be a good teacher.

Ofc he forgot to mention the rampant drug use he was on just like every other fucking powerlifting retard back then.
Natty he couldn't even squat 550lb despite being obese.

So what's wrong with starting strength for beginners?

people don't know how to do it right

assuming retard
because it's too quad and glute and lower back centric and requires constant weight increases every session, which requires a ridiculously caloric diet and perfect sleep.

Is there any actual video of rippetits lifting something in his ‘prime’?

>ridiculous caloric diet

Is it really ridiculous? From my understanding you should have something like a 500 calorie surplus (unless you're an extremely underweight male) which isn't that bad. As to perfect sleep, this really applies to any workout program, unless there's one which allows you to slack off and party all the time.

What would you recommend for a beginner?

yes

> If I call them a dyel instead of making an argument maybe they wont n-notice h-how hard i'm raging!!!

Pathetic.

Translation:

>It's too hard for me

Jesus Christ people, it's a program designed to be run for 3 to 4 months MAX.

It's good because it's simple and gives great strength results over a short period of time.

The people you see here bitching about it either never ran it, or tried to do it for 6 months and failed at it. It's easily the best introduction course there is on lifting there is, and honestly, the book's notes on form are the best available anywhere.

If you want to go powerlifting after that, do the bridge.

If you want to go bodybuilding, start with any brosplit

If you've already been lifting for a while, why the fuck are you doing SS?

ITT: people who can't read.

Then link it faggot. I can’t find anything.
