Diddly and height?

how does barbell row compare to pendlay row in terms of how much weight you can lift

Well this is an eye opener.

what do you even do at the gym

I only started a month and a half ago.

makes sense, keep at it you will see results in no time

Thanks. I put that I could bench 1 pl8 in it, I guess that's still novice

>tfw not a single one of my groups registers as proficient
>lot of novice in there
>been in the gym since march and still cant get that 2 pl8 bench
>just now hit a 3pl8 deadlift today
>starting to get a gut from the caloric excess im taking in but have completely stagnated in my lifts

Attached: 1532035412758.jpg (212x206, 8K)

135 is not that bad, how much do you weigh?

So I have to pay for an app now? Ok (((OP)))

you wont hit a 225 bench in a few months at the gym, who lied to you?

at least you're balanced at a reasonably good level I guess

165, user.

seems like most of fit was able to hit most of the 1/2/3/4 pl8 within 6-8 months. I wont lie I look stronger than I am, and its starting to hurt my confidence a lot because im just so damn weak compared to everyone else.

symmetricstrength. com

fit is a bunch of liars, i bet only a few of them can actually bench over 225 with a proper stop at the bottom of the rep and full range of motion, focus on your own lifts, not others and you will see better results

Attached: average fitizen.jpg (3264x1836, 1.34M)

most of fit lies..
it took me a year to hit 1/2/3/4 and I'm generally a strong guy.. fit likes to stat pad but in general hitting 1234 isn't THAT easy and is beyond novice

ive been trying to but I haven't made any bench progress in at least a month. im stuck dead in the water at 180lbs. which is pathetic since im 205

eat, sleep, do other bench exercises, lower the weight and improve your form theres a lot you can do to improve your bench

lies fit is weak and lies to cope with their crippling insecurity
1/2/3/4 is lauded as the "make it" point because it's hard and pretty respectable in each lift
anyone telling u that they made it there in a matter of months is either lying or fat because your ability to lift heavy things is tied to bodyweight hence the crazy lifts in the heavyweight class

man I really don't get it.
everyone in Jow Forums is intermediate at worst, elite at best and they're like 2 months into the gym.

you're either fucking liars or for some reason Jow Forums is full of superhumans that for some reason can't get a gf

a lot of people say things on fit to discourage you or they're estatting
the 1/2/3/4 might be their 1rpm with terrible form brah

disappointing

Snapped my back a ways back and I've been slowly building back up from that point. I keep psyching myself out once I start going past 3plate squat and 4plate DL though because I'm afraid that even the slighest deviation from perfect will fuck me up again. Not sure how much of that is mental, but it's better safe than sorry.

11 months lifting, no prior experience in any form of sport. 6'3" 87kg

It's pretty obvious that I do crazy amounts of pressing, and barely any squatting. Strength score is 80, due to my pathetic squat.

Bench more, or do dips

Attached: Screenshot_20180803-191339.png (1080x1920, 554K)

I literally hit 1/2 in 4 months at 83kg 6'3" lanklet mode. Everyone should have those two within a year at most.

I see you like deadlifting. What are you at? 480lb?

Dude in a wheelchair who does pullups and nothing else

It would help if you included your weight...

30kg OHP, 55kg bench, 8 pull-ups at bodyweight.

80kg, 6’1, 20 y/o

Not even close

warmer, my only half decent lift

I'm a fatass alright.

Attached: me.png (959x872, 407K)

Man with no legs who is permanently attached to a rowboat

we all gonna make it bruh

BP: 95kg x5
OHP: 47.5kg x5
Pull up: +21.25kg x5

Bruv. Height? I'm 1,7m and weigh 62kg. My stats are similar but still under yours. What program(s) did you run? I'm starting to hit plateaus because I don't gain weight (but have steadily gained muscle, basically recomping).

Do you have shoulders? Nice pull ups though, is that not in advanced category?

Change it up for a bit, do tonnes of close grip bench, incline bench, db bench for 3-4 weeks and then come back to regular flat bb bench and you'll see an improvement, and make sure you deload when you stall (reduce weight by 10%, work your way back up)

Weirdly my shoulders are proportionally bigger than they ought to be, even thought they’re weak; Advanced category pull-ups are 35+kg iirc

Mirin Ur numbers mate

I'm blue daboo dee daboo dai
On my chest tris and inner thighs.

Mirin front squat
Does oly lifting really have that little carryover to deadlifting /vice versa or are you just a deadliftlet?

I never train it since I've never had a problem with my pull off the floor. But training squat so much makes it go up slowly. I fully expect my squat to be higher than deadlift eventually

6'2
190
Gonna work on my bench. I will join the 225 club by years end.

Attached: Symmetric.png (1164x1472, 573K)

what's the name of the website, again? I keep forgetting.

idk but you move less weight with pendlay

finally got the green man, my ohp used to be blue
(My squat and diddly are old lifts cause I'm snapcity now)
((I'm using weighted dip and weighted pull-up instead of bench and row))

Attached: greenman.png (651x737, 376K)

1 month in as Skeletor, will I make it?

Most people I know get it in a year doing a 5x5 program tho

symmetricstrength.com

user, we're all gonna make it brah.

i'm full blue and i've been lifting since end of february

i recently switched to 5/3/1, maybe that's why my lifts are going up so slow? heh...

What are your numbers, height and weight?

45/70/85/95
67kg 170cm

In my opinion you arent strong enough to be running 5/3/1. You need to be doing 5/3/1 FSL or 5/3/1 BBB or your not going to make gains due to lack of volume.

yeah im doing 5/3/1 BBB. this week i increased the weight by 5lbs upper/10lbs lower as its the start of a new cycle (my 3rd) and failed to complete all my sets for the first time. is that something to worry about?

Jesus nobody here lifts and I’ve taken advice from some people

Attached: C2A26957-E534-4F3C-9B53-AC2B1DBB4579.png (750x1334, 366K)

nice shoulders, faggot

Calvlet

If you've been eating and sleeping well then it means you're being challenged and you're on the right track just keep at it. If you haven't then you should get better rest or up your protein intake.

thank you for the advice

Are you taking deload weeks every 1/2 cycle?

How are you doing on the amrap sets?

why?

actually i skipped both deload weeks so far
on my 2nd cycle i didnt manage to get more than 1 rep on the last set of the 3rd week (so the set is prescribed as 1+ and i only got 1)
this week is my 3rd cycle as i mentioned and i failed to hit the last 5 reps for OHP (got 4) and failed to hit 50 reps on bench (got 48).
are deload weeks very important? looking at them on the calculator made me feel like theyre a waste of time
