I tried the Olympic Press yesterday, you start the movement with the bar on your upper chest and lean back. Very comfy, no risk hitting your head whatsoever, by the time you've gotten your head under the bar, the bar is already too high to hit you.

Fuck no. Pullups/chins/lat pulldown is great for biceps and the arms are the first to give out, which means there's a lot left in the tank for the back. Do rows. All kinds of rows. This week I did seated V grip rows with some body english in it, my traps were sore as hell the next 2 days. I also did meadows rows for grip without straps. I think I might start using straps on this one and go heavy.

Isn't that cardio? I mean you shouldn't really be doing heavy 5's or 3's when doing rows and should probably stick on the 8-20 rep range, but I don't care about cardio.
i presume high rep cardo machine consisting of pulls would develop ur back over time; then if u also did heavy pulls 3x a week u would get big back

By heavy pulls I assume you mean some kind of deadlifting, either conventional deficit or rack/block pull.
Yes, they develop your back, but you always do so much volume before your lumbar starts screaming at you. They are the main movement, and I like treating the movement more as a test/speed&technique lift, rather than a major builder where you do a shit load of volume. So if I do a heavy triple of deadlifts, I won't call it a day for my back there. I'll go and do a shitload of rows.
Same way for the bench and press really. I like to build them with DB variations and tricep extensions.

Rowing is like 60% legs and maybe 30% back. Anyways, you can do 1 min on 1 min off or something like that to make the exercise more challenging to help build your back a bit

But on a serious note, don't do cardio expecting muscle gains, that's what resistance training is there for. Do cardio for your sport if you compete in something.

I always thought of the overhead press as the deadlift of the upper body for two reasons:
1) It's impossible to get pinned under the weight
2)It's hard to hurt yourself with good form (if the weight is too heavy, it won't even budge)
