I've struggled with weight my whole life, I've made many attempts to lose the fat, some far more valid than others, but nothing has stuck.

Now I'm 25 and sick of this shit, I'm strongly considering getting gastric bypass surgery, I don't know what else to do at this point.

Thoughts?

eat less fatass
there is no magic bullet for laziness

I just don't have the willpower when it comes to food, I don't fucking know... it's frustrating.

Even with surgery, you still have to learn to eat properly or it will eventually come back. As long as the will to change is there, you have a chance at a better situation and body.

In the past attempts, what have you struggled with the most? Also how much do you actually know about nutrition and weight loss? Maybe it's time for a different approach.

ok here's what will happen user.
you will get the surgery, it will fuck you up for life and you'll go down a few pounds but never be lean because you took the easy way and your way of thinking stayed the same.
if they remove the bypass you'd then proceed to gain the weight back as you didn't put any effort and took the easy way out.

fix yourself and find what's wrong deeply inside you if you're fat enough to consider bypass, then try to get that weight down naturally.

stop being a pussy
stop eating
if you cant do that you're just being a weak willed faggot

if you cant eat healthy now you arent going to magically eat healthy after surgery

relying on willpower will make you fail before starting
you can always workout more if u like eating tasty crap

Try Intermittent Fasting. Start at 1 day a week. I you can do that, make it two days. Keep count of your calories, drink lots of water, coffee and tea to make your body think your fed. Have to eat less and readjust your thinking. Your body needs to be realigned also.

Roids or even DNP will probably be less damaging for you than gastric bypass, but no external thing will fix your eating habits.

>find what's wrong deeply inside you
this, user. People don't get super fat just cause they love food. They get super fat because they have a deeper issue and food just happened to be their comfort, and then they struggle to lose weight because they have a messed up relationship with eating.

The best long-term progress doesn't involve shaming yourself for being fat, but making positive changes to your habits. In other words, you can't just tell yourself to eat less, you need to replace the habit of stress-eating (if that's what you do) with some other, less harmful action. You've slipped before, and it won't be the last time, but in the long run you will find success if you're patient and allow yourself to enjoy small victories.

Fat fuck, enjoy a life of discomfort leading up to your early death.

37 here, I was thinking surgery or horrific drugs. If I'm going that extreme I may as well start fasting while drink snake juice.

I'm glad I did. Down 30lbs in two weeks. After the first 2 days my hunger was gone.

still drinking coffee/tea or straight salt water?

When I had depression I didn't eat for about 2 days and lost 3 kg. Losing weight is literally so easy, force yourself to not eat. You'll lose about a kg a day.

Did you try not eating?
Or working out and burning more calories than you eat?
I'm assuming you haven't done either since both work.

p.s. You'll just gain the weight back if you get a gastric bypass. You lose a little at first, but just eat more since you have low control and you'll waste more money on food.

Still drinking black coffee, not much tea.
Hell I drink regular water sometimes too. I tried the cayenne powder in the snake juice but that's not for me. I was considering surgery or dying on DNP. So why not fasting first since it's much less risk? I'm pretty happy I did.

bump

this is serious

Read a book called "Good Sugar Bad Sugar" by Allen Carr

Once you get started it suddenly comes very easy and efficient.
All you need is ONE successfull round - and the will power suddenly is there.
Excersize when you have fasted a full day + slept = the result is triple the "normal".
2 days, and it is 4 times, 3 days or more is too much, and will not be that healthy, but some can do it.
(by the excersize i mean like over 2 hours actual movement, not just faking it for youself)

Do you mostly eat in or out?

Alcohol is my weakness, I don't keep it in the house.

Don't go to the supermarket hungry ever, plan your meals and only buy what you need. Go through your cupboards and get rid of what you need to.
