See your doctor before fasting if you have any sort of chronic illness (type 1 diabetes, malnourished, underweight, pregnant, breastfeeding)

>4700mg of saltless potassium max (NoSalt/LoSalt are high potassium-low sodium salts available in grocery stores or Amazon and the like)
Mix these in a liter of water and sip it throughout the day. The apple cider vinegar and lemon are optional but recommended for 10+ day fasts.
You can also do this if you feel lightheaded, weak, dizzy, nauseous, etc., on shorter water fasts. Don’t do this while intermittent fasting.

There's no "healthy weight" peoples frames are different and genetics are different. A healthy weight for an islander is going to be a lot different then a healthy weight for a wh*Te nordic.

162-176 for a small frame and 171-187 for a large frame is a good benchmark though. Then even more if you want to add muscle. Just go by the mirror honestly.

Dry fasting 23 hours a day. Knocking back 1 litre of water and salts (half the salts of the snake juice recipe) in the 1 hour window. Also have the option of eating less than 300g of cucumber in this window, but only if I feel famished, so far I'm on day 3 and haven't had to resort to that but tbf I just came off a 5 day waterfast thay ended in a 1 day refeed so I was already primed to not be hungry.

I'm hoping this routine will allow me to sustain without extreme discomfort for 12 days and hoping it will lose more fat (if only a tiny bit) than a water fast, as my SO is coming back to the country then and I want to drop as much weight as I can before falling back on a more sensible adf routine or something.

And no I'm not going to drink piss.

They are completely different things. And it's not useless. Fasting is all about hitting the post absorptive range (depleting gylcogen and carbs and running completely off fat), and getting the nutrients you need while your eating in your 8 hours. not being on a keto diet doesn't affect your ability to get into that state.

A keto diet is centered around perpetually using ketones for energy and being in a post asborptive range for as long as possible while still getting the nutrients (amino acids) you need for your brain to function.

At the end of the day, both are effective at what they are trying to accomplish, and you can chose either. Do you want to perpetually be in a state of ketosis and eat mostly meat and fat? Or do you want to eat what you'd like in an 8 hour window.

I am convinced more than ever people over-drink water.

Only very light cardio. Rowing or treadmill walking at a pace of 400-500 cal/hr for 30 mins to an hr each day.
Starting to feel a lot more absent minded doing it now though, might cut back.

Excessive water in your body causes inflammation, puts stress on bones etc. It also contains a lot of toxins, negative information, so fast with water retained is clearly not as effective in cleansing effect. Mosquitoes love swamps.

Travelers do not always have means of water. There is an oasis here and there but you are defined by the road and its suffering. It strengthens you physically, mentally and spiritually.

So, I've been at my grandmother's place for the past three days, she cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner and I couldn't refuse to eat any meal. I haven't got a scale here, but I counted calories and I ate something like 1500 every one of these three days. There's still a day to go. How much weight can I possibly have gained in these days? I feel full as fuck and I can't wait to fast as soon as I get back home

I rarely eat chocolates or other sweets now, maybe once a month or so. Used to be a whole lot more. I eat an apple when I feel the urge to eat something sweet and now it tastes good as fuck. Pre OMAD/fast me would have retched at the taste of it.

Instead of eating 600 cals a day, snake juice fast for 8 days and refeed for 3-5 days. Your body will be much better off for it. No need to track shit as long as you can eyeball and confirm you're not eating something insane like 4000+ calories
fasting will take care of any surplus you may eat in your refeed periods.

Let's say I did start sippin jooce and still wanted to exercise. Is like 300 calories good? I would only do cardio and pushups/situps since that's what you have to be good at to join the branches I would join.

It's in the OP under difference calorie restriction and fasting. Part of it is the effect it has on insulin and how insulin affects body set weight. When you fast your insulin level decrease significantly and over an extended fast it should decrease your insulin resistance. Fung claims to have observed a similar effect with intermittent fasting over a longer time period. It's also, surprisingly, easier to stick to fasting than calorie restriction.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not eating like 3 200 calorie meals or really counting very hard. I'm doing 18/6 intermittent fasting and eating about one meal. I could go full /fast/ but, and sorry to blog, I do still live at my parents' house and my mom would go full crab on me if she knew I was fasting. She works 6 days a week so her seeing me eat dinner sometimes is enough to make her think I'm not fasting. She's a nurse practitioner, but trouble is she thinks that she's an expert on every sort of healthcare field, including nutrition. I mentioned being interested in keto to her back in high school and she gave me a lecture on how dieting doesn't work and the only way to lose weight would be to swap out fatty shit for not fatty shit and exercising. Sound advice and that's what I've been doing for the past 4 months, but I want to drop 20lbs as soon as possible so that I can leave as soon as possible.

I might not reach perfection but I can move towards it. Plus it's so much easier to fast every other day than to try and eat like 500 cals a day every day. I tried that before and it's suffering. Fasting seems to decrease my hunger on eat days as well so that's a huge benefit. This is all around superior to standard cutting.

I used to have reflux before fasting and at the beginning, fasting sort of aggravated it. Fasting cured it though. Are you drinking the old snake juice without baking soda?

First time fasting here, 3 days in and I feel okay. Hunger pangs are controllable, but how do you guys control the liquid shit? Do you guys just not take a chance and go to the bathroom everytime you feel like farting?
