Like everybody who's good at anything competetive, they train what they love doing and add competition specific training on top of that.

I done CrossFit before I had family problems, I lost my fitness so didn't go back. If you get a good instructor then it's a great way to get fit and athletic, but you won't get big.

Started crossfit a month ago. Coaches are considerate about power cleans form (and other compounds) and it really gets you sweating. But I don't see how it really works, deadlifts followed by sprints? I'll still be returning to my gym in december

i unironically think crossfit looks really fun. if there wasn't such a stigma around it and if the coaches actually cared about form, i would consider doing it alongside lifting

Literally EVERY woman I see do CrossFit irl is some fat/chubby girl who looks like she never works out. None of them are the thick CrossFit girls like Brooke.

i'll start doing crossfit when crossfit starts using an actual training structure suitable for the everyday man who just wants to be in shape instead of sponsored roided athletes (seriouslly only roided pros look good in crossfit), the risk of injury becomes minimum and they stop pretending that they can be as good in every single sport as world class athletes of their respective sport

+1, I do crossfit and thats what I do, because if you only do crossfit, you cant make strenght gainz very much, I even lost strenght. So I combined both, gym 3 times a week + 2-3x crossfit, going pretty good

I started SL 5x5, but when the weights get heavier, I might do crossfit words only on the off days, but for now, i'm doing stronglifts, then the wod on the same day
