story time
I was working out in my apartment complex gym connected to the apartment center/clubhouse at like 8 pm yesterday. Was the only one lifting in the gym. After a work session was done, I headed for the exit and you had to go through the apartment clubhouse in order to exit the building. For some reason, the help desk which had 2 skinny tall dudes who went to my school staffing it for the apartment complex just started laughing as soon as i went out of the door and looking at me when doing it. I don't know what was their problem. And one dude said "Have a good day" not trying to laugh. I said "you too" back to be nice. You guys might say that I'm just an insecure manlet or something, but I literally never dealt with height problems until college. I can tell they were shittalking me behind my back since they saw me working out in the gym.

I think it all just depends on the average height of the people you're around. I'm 5'8 and I got my balls busted all the time in highschool because it just so happened that I was the shortest guy in my circle of friends and they were all like 6'0+. But then in college, half the guys on my floor were actually shorter than me.
