The point of optimising your testosterone levels is to improve your life. Improved motivation, happiness, reduced mental health problems, better body compisition, better training, more confidence, etc etc. All of these are direct results of high test. The point is to get that to improve the quality of your life as a whole.

It means the sample was small, so each group had different starting t-levels. The test-lowering effect seems pretty clear and consistent, though. For women it had the opposite effect.

I've always always always said listening to music while working out makes you weaker. I always said it's because music makes it mentally easier on you which comes out to less gains, but I guess the lowered testosterone thing makes sense as well
