I usually superset these with shrugs at the end of my shoulder day. Allows for lighter weight and better pump in the traps and delts. I think most injuries with this movement cone from using heavy weight.
Probably something to do with it obliterating your rotator cuffs. Kind of a thing my physiotherapist is trying to help me fix

Actually it's due to impingment from the internal rotation. Trust a guy why has a fucked Ac and rotator cuff, this is not something you want to deal with.
