Depends. If you work in a major city with significant violent crime or state police agency the police are a high test band of brothers. If you work in a suburban police department the workplace culture is identifical to any other faggy office job.

Actually it depends on a few factors. Firefighters can earn 6 digits and up, but they usually need at least 6 years on the job and to be at least a lieutenant position, along with taking overtime shifts. Beginning pay is usually only 15/hr after two years of schooling. Also depends how busy the station they’re at is. Some cars run almost the entire 24 hour shift, which means the firefighter spends the entire next day recovering, or they barely run at all.

In the US there is a huge disparity in wages nationwide for fire and police jobs. In my city entry-level firefighters and police officers can easily clear six figures in their first year. There are also many parts of the country where those same positions pay 30-40k annually or even less.

First I wanted to suggest joining organized crime, but on higher levels there is no fraternity, you either earn money for guys higher in the pecking order orła you get out with your feet first. i'm brazilian and the closest you can get to a life of military duty with all that comes along is unironically the states military police forces, since our armed forces do nothing all day besides shooting fake bullets and posting on facebook
i live in the state with the largest military police force and so there's plenty of academies around, and by what i've seem its an absolute bro factory; but first you gotta pass on the civil tenderings in order to be accepted in the academy, which i failed once at the psych exams (nailed the fitness ones tho, it was the reason i started to get fit), but i've already applied again and passed the theoretical exams, on my way to re-doing the fitness and then psych ones. I hope i've learned from my mistakes.

I made about 80k as a DC FF/Medic running 25-30 calls for service. 24 hours on, 72 hours off. It wasn’t enough.
