I heard fasting is only good long term. Would it be a good idea to fast (no meals just water) on my two off days from working out? Part of me honestly yes wants to do it because of faster weight loss. Well I was just thinking about this from a more scientific approach. Why not weigh the paper towels/napkins before on the food scale then soak up a bunch of grease and see how much more the napkin weighs. The difference should be how much fat was taken off. From there, take the grams x9 and one would know how many calories were taken out.

How long does it take to fuk up your metabolism in your experience? I've been on a 1200kcal/day diet for 3 weeks, and it's been going pretty good except for the fact that I may gain it all back once I stop. Pls help I don't want to plateau at 1200

Most big chain restaurants have calories on the menu. Choose the low calorie options.

For other restaurants, just use common sense. Choose baked over deep fried. Fish/chicken over steak. And so on

I know it makes atrophy happens which reduces stretch marks. I figured it wouldn’t matter if I do dry or water fasting if it’s just two days every week. I might give dry fasting a try then

Nothing yet, but I've only been at it for 4 days.
Although I'm considering either increasing the calories I eat in a day or cutting the exercise because I've been feeling dizzy lately, especially when I get up.
I don't want to cut off the exercise so I'll probably add either bigger meals or more snacks.
My goal to lose 1kg per week is 2160kcal and I've been eating around 1.3k per day plus 30 mintues of stationary bike.

Went to a bbq, food was shit so I just drank 4 beers, on way home grabbed some proper food to grill up, ate 2lbs of carne asada, 1/2 rack of spare ribs, a piece of chocolate cake and 4 beers I had left over in the fridge. Never gonna make it.

I gained a pound last week. I was too loose with my calories eaten vs. those burned, letting a 1500 calorie balance be my guide. Maybe I can’t eat only 1500 calories per day, but I am definitely going to start weighing the meat I eat.

Water weight, if you were to weigh yourself everyday your weight will be going up and down like a roller coaster. What you should do is avoid pasta and drink lots of water for a week, then when you decide to weigh yourself drink some water and coffee and wait for 2-4 hours for it to run through your system, but don't eat anything.

If you are happy with your weight slowly increase your calories to stay healthy. You aren't supposed to diet forever.

You can say this about any cutting diet tho. We all have to build our standard eating plan but be able to flex it and eyeball portions for extraneous circumstances like bday dinners or dates or just going out with the lads. Even beef and beans autism here isn't taking tuppaware to tinder dates

except CICO with macro management, I can literally fit in a 1000 calorie dinner with relative ease even on a 1500cal diet just by managing the other things I eat that day. I can drink 800cal of vodka and be okay. Beans and autism can't really do that when his portions are so strict. He should really have more than one option for every day food. I have 10-20 meals that I rotate through depending on what I want and always make my calorie and macro budget.

Family gatherings and whatnot are always going to be difficult no matter where you are diet wise just try to not go back for seconds. All fast food has high saturated fats, cholesterol, sodium, sugar, even if it seems healthy chances are its not. At sit down chain resturants there is usually a low calorie menu as for non chains you are just going to need to be smart and avoid certain things. At most resturants they give you way too much food so I try to not eat the whole meal and save some for leftovers the next day at lunch.

Drink some water for Christs sake. If you are hungry just eat a bowl of rasin bran or oatmeal.
