Is this good advice?

sup Jow Forums
been out of the loop for a while and just started lifting again. I'm seeing this guy pop up on youtube a lot and it seems like good advice. But I've seen a thread on here making fun of him.

So does he give good advice or nah?

I did upright rows and got a shoulder impingement.

I will never again disregard Jeff's advice.

>hay guise does a physiotherapist and pro athlete trainer know more than a bunch of DYELs on the internet?
Did this really not pass through that stupid question filter in your brain?

the only reasons people make fun of him are

1) he has an ugly face

2) he uses clickbait titles

his content is really good.

The answer will shock you.

He's broscience: the person, I don't hacer how many people he trains, so does Louie Simmons.

>physical therapy is broscience

come on

>broscience
You have no fucking clue what broscience is

Wasn't Elliot Hulse also an " athlete trainer"? Another shining example why appeal to authority or whatever fallacy this is is a non-shitty argument.
I've never been to physical therapy, but Rip says they're full of shit and don't know what progressive overload, so I'm just going to assume that it is.

he kinda reminds me of a young Scooby

I mean some vids seem pretty good but on others he does some meme exercises, like those dips with a plus and a twist.. and he's kinda hart to listen to because he's always yelling

What happened to Elliot and Rip?
Been gone for 4 years and everything changed

>STOP WORKING OUT FOR MORE THAN 45 MINUTES YOU'RE OVERTRAINING
>DO THESE TEN SPECIAL SNOWFLAKE EXERCISES WITH EVERY WORKOUT TOO (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

well which is it, Jeffrey?

IDK whatever happened to Elliot. Maybe he's still around. I haven't watched his content since like 2013-2014. I just remember him doing less and less lifting advice and more and more new age spiritualism stuff. I assume he just had a mental breakdown

Yea kinda looked like that. I used to watch his squatting advice but stopped when he started that weird shaky screamy stuff

Elliot became menopausal, he started rambling about supernatural crap and had a narcisistic histerical breakdown trying to mog some other eceleb. I'm sure he still gets a ton of views but not from people here.

After crossfit Rip didn't learn and he became a reddit meme. He started doing podcasts and other eceleb crap, surrounded himself with numale yesmen. His coaches were always a bit weird now there's a ton of them and they're like a cringeworthy cult, with dramas and all.

I DON'T WANT TO FUCK MY WIIIIIFE

>and had a narcisistic histerical breakdown trying to mog some other eceleb.
Sounds legit. Care to tell the tale?

Also I haven't listened to Rip lately, but I legit think he's going senile. Just the way he seems to stare off into space giving his lectures and such.

He's not wrong that Winter Soldier is the best mahvel movie

Have you seen cain valasquez's strength trainer? Personal trainer don't have to know anything.

A physical therapist is basically a doctor though

his wife is ugly as fuck though. And very few women are actually "ugly"

>stop doing that compound lift or you will get injured
>here's 17 fluff and pump alternatives you can do with bitch weight

Rip is just trying to be a good businessman and teach people about squats, that's what he said after the Crossfit thing. I get how being surrounded by fanboys who can't ohp 1pl8 could be soul-crushing.

Obliged. And yeah, I like Rip regardless of all the cultists who gather around him. I see him akin to a boyscout leader or something to that affect. Older guy trying to show the noobs how things are done.
