Same here, man. I always go through these threads and while a lot of you get paid well, your jobs sound so horribly boring. I have no idea what the fuck I’m gonna do.

super comfy job, i work only for soccer world and euro championships and olympic games. I only work 3,4 months a year and the work is always in a new foreign country with foreign qt3.14s. All expenses are covered during my stay so i walk away with a nice amount of money and am free to do as i please for the rest of the year. I usually just fuck off to a warm place where i can surf.

No. Barely making it. I'm trying to get better at the design stuff so that I can make more money. Finding a job in my state is too difficult, but I'm trying to do better.

Operator man here. Do what has the best results for the least amount of time/work put in.

Sounds cool except for the “cyber” part. Do you get bullied by the Chads that investigate real crimes and not nerd crime?

Fuck around doing whatever as I made it in Bitcoin. I say I'm angel investor, which I guess I am now but that implies I work regular hours which I definitely don't.

cant really complain, there is no big money here but after 1-1-2018 I have enough experience to go after 65k+ jobs with a proven track record.

I'm in private sector, not law enforcement.

are you a philipino?

there's a company that installs all media cables (sound video and glass fiber) for these events. It basically connects all cameras and microphones with their respective master control room. We do it in stadiums and the broadcast center, where all the TV signals come together.

They have groups of 9 guys per stadium to do the regular cables, but there are always some cables that have to be installed in hardly accessible locations. Under roofs, in 20 meter height etc. And that's my job; i attach the cable to my belt, climb up there, and connect it to a camera/microphone. I'm the only in the company doing this high risk jobs, and i get paid more. I am my own boss and am just given a list of all problem spots to finish. I chill a lot.

Fifa and the olympics treat me spectacular, they book me in the same hotels as the athletes and give me a driver and a credit card with a daily limit for food and stuff.

They also have me work 10 hours everyday which is gay, so i end up living in cool towns like seoul or moscow but i'm only working and if i see something of the place i'm all fucked up the next day at work.

Still, best job i ever had.

So you're not going after the 400lb hacker known as Jow Forums?

Sounds fucking awesome and you probably have a cooler job than 99% of the STEM dorks on this board. I’m jelly.

Not satisfied with life by a long shot. I fucked up my studies when I was younger and ended up prolonging my degree by 2 years. I feel like a failure because of that. Being diabetic doesn't help either. Have been skinny my whole life, but these past couple months I've put on 10kg to finally push my bmi out of the underweight zone. Started going to the gym last month, doing SS. On the third week of training the gym sessions were amazing, the pump felt so good, it was incredible! Next day I couldn't move but it was worth it, finally found something I enjoy again in life.
Honestly can't remember how long it's been since the last time this happened.

Stay with me Jow Forumsbros, we'll make it together one day.

Salaries in Britain are average, salaries in the US are just crazy (especially the juniors in CA starting on 100k+). And you have way bigger houses with cheaper land and far lower taxes. Plucky buggers.

But at least when I horribly injure myelf I don't also go bankrupt, so there's that.
