how's it a cure if you have to rely on a pill?
Thanks for sharing OP. I'll try this.
Did absolutely nothing for me
It makes me laugh a lot.
Better than nothing
It does work. Wait until you develop a rash and your dangerously photosensitive though
Modafanil cured mine. I also excercise like a maniac now
I always wondered about herbal pills like this, Ashwagandha, Valeriana etc. which plays with your brain and hormones. Wouldn't you get addicted/fucked up if you stop taking them?
You're. You are.
No bc they are just adaptogens
Oh look a sjw. Onions Jew worshipper
Okay I'll do it.
Anyone know if you can take it in conjunction with N-A-C?
There are a lot of interactions. Just google it to be safe.
I'll bite.
What's your dose?
How long did it took to take effect?
What else did you do to help (e.g. exercising)?
>interacts with everything under the sun
Anyone in this thread got opinions on 5-HTP. I don't want to fuck around with harder antidepressants but I took 5-HTP when I was a teenager and it definitely improved my mood and productivity (maybe placebo but who cares)

who the FUCK takes showers with clothes on?? stupid women
600 - 900 a day
Felt the effects after the first 3 days.
Do you think this board has any impact on the real world?
lucky mf, that's nice. i've never noticed much effect from it (with a few exceptions ) and i've taken a lot.
remember to wear sunglasses outside, since it's photosensitizing
It really only works if you are depressed.
Same breh
This is interesting. It made me mums so much worse we had to collect her from the psych ward about once a month
Yes.

It depends their mode of action. St. John's Wort, unlike NDRIs/SSRIs/SNRIs, is multi-faceted in how Hypericin and Hyperforin operate - they are GABAergic, and they also inhibit reuptake of serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine. It is also an MAOI.
Total sidebar, but because it's an MAOI it also would make oral DMT active -- the same effect you'd get from other MAOIs in Ayahuasca, like Banisteriopsis Caapi.
check them on examine, their mode of action is not traditional and won't cause dependence
That’s bullshit. People don’t do covert advertising on Jow Forums you schizo
Mine's definitely improving, and I have been taking this stuff, but in that time nice shit happened to me and I've used LSD a few times. Maybe it works!
The Best mood supplements are
Vitamin D
Ashwaganda
Curcumin
St John worts

do you call fish oil threads stealth marketing too?
I started taking cbd oil drops under my tongue 3 times a day and it pretty much cured my anxiety and ocd. its magic
cbd is expensive though, what is the dosage you are taking?
adaptogens are not problematic. some people find ashwagandah too stimulating though. You also build physical tolerance quickly so people cycle it. It is however, tremendously effective.
The doctors all tell you that you're not supposed to rely on the meds as a crutch. The goal with these meds is to make it easier for you to make positive changes in your life and rewiring your own brain with your own positive decisions.
It's kind of like practicing isometric holds or negatives before proper pull-ups.
250mg, 2 drops under the tongue twice or 3 times a day. I really felt it starting to work about 5 days in. people even notice a difference in my attitude. I'm alot more calm and chill, I'm able to go with the flow and dont stress so much about insignificant things. I also notice I can be in public alor easier and dont feel like everyones eyes are on me like I used to
there are like 40 people here
I'm pretty sure I'm recognizable anyway, I'm the racist one
I've taken it before. If your parents have thyroid issues don't take it. I took it for awhile and went to docs only to find out I have hypothyroidism now. Googled it and it's a side effect. Also it's a serious drug. Just because something is herbal doesn't mean it's fine.
>willingly taking a CYP450 3A4 inducer
*snap*
Extremely dangerous to take long term please be careful anons.
Just got diagnosed with GAD and my doc prescribed me 10mg lexapro and gave me some xanax for my panic attacks
I am in the third year of my DPT program and have been having stress nightmares and been an emotional rollercoaster. Just finished my second of five clinical rotations and have some time off to experiment with my new medication.
I don't plan on using the xanax unless I have another 16-hour panic attack, but am kind of worried of the effect lexapro will have on my gains. Anyone have experience?
Fuck been there. I got off Xanax, but my doctor won't prescribe me anything after I've done my 3 months of Zoloft. He doesn't want anything to effects it. I can finally go to lectures, but I'm there cold sweating from my forehead and my ass. Biology proffessor asked if I was on drugs and i told her yeah. At least she was ok with me and said if I needed time, just come the days of the exam. Anxiety is a hella of a drug. Try breathing exercises and putting your body language in relaxed stances.
Lexapro is kike SSRI shit. Bin it.
Tried it once
Could feel my emotions shutting down one by one.
I was the perfect machine, with no fear o told my parents I was heading out for a massage and went to my local brothel.
Fucked the hooker for 20 minuets before finishing. Left her laying there and winked to the next guy about to go in.
got home and looked up side effects and saw that your skin gets super sensitive to sunlight and lemon juice and o don’t want sun spots in my face so o threw the bottle away.
Started feeling emotions again the next day.
All up 6/10 experience.
I hope you're still here. What brand bro?
this
should i try ashgawanda, any side effects?
Ashwaganda is even better. I feel like a monk on that stuff.
I'm afraid to drink coffee let alone take pills. I also believe that depression is caused more environmentally than genetically, which means taking a pill is masking the problem. Mental health industry will tell you that it's very possible it's linked genetically but i'm just not 100% sure on that.
>curcumin
Will a teaspoon of turmeric get me there?
>"One study funded by the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health found that 21 percent of 193 products (made in both the United States and India) had levels of lead, mercury, and/or arsenic that were above what’s considered acceptable for human daily intake."

Like depression. This cured my magic
This is why I don’t take supplements
Meme Marketing
only temporarily for me
Best mood supplement I've used is mucuna puriens, shit made me horny and energetic as fuck
>t. never been to a public pool
yep, combine it with black pepper (around 10% of the turmeric) to boost bioavailability
I was 15 when my mom gave me some valeriana drops i went from crying to bursting out laughing
It actually fixed mine too. Would love to know why
It doesn’t cure anything it just helps a bit like every other otc supplements
I use it after a night of partying
Saint johns works for me, been using it for awhile now, stablizes my mood greatly. Its no depression cure but it does indeed promote a better mood
I bought 2 cans partly because of the meme.
I used to buy them in college before the meme, though.
Who dis?
No such thing as a 16-hour panic attack.
Either you're lying, or what you experienced wasn't a panic attack.
Seriously who is this guys?
No no no, I'm the one who hates spics
not the same guy, but it doesn't make him a sjw warrior just because you didn't learn something they literally teach in first grade
did it list the 21 though?
Well Im not sure how else to describe it
I had an episode in the break room where my chest was tight and I had tunnel vision and I couldn't stop perseverating on little shit that could ruin my life for 16 hours. The physical effects (tightness/ breathing issue) were intermittent until the next afternoon.
Lmao lurk more
yeah... this seems kinda like a lot of effort to take one every day.... think i will just stay in major depression...
wtf. i used to use it at uni. might try again
Don’t die...
You have delusions on grandeur if you think advertisers post here in this general matter.
since it it's on the same topic, I'll ask. I decided to buy some ashwagandha recently but I got it in powder form. How much do you guys recon is a decent daily dose? Half a teaspoon or something?
LSD cured mine after a few trips
Whole teaspoon is what I use
if you have a genuine mental illness, these supplements don't do much at all. maybe improve the symptoms 10% at best. for years i was obsessed with supplements and had tried all of the things that have been mentioned in this thread. the only things that produced any positive effects were curcumin and NAC. i took so much curcumin that it depleted my DAO levels and i began developing reactions to foods, like histamine rashes and diarrhea. modafinil was absolutely useless, ashwagandha made me worse, l-glutamine made me fucking crazy, etc. i also discovered during that time that vitamin B supplements make me lose my mind.
i took NAC for the longest and its effects were always noticeable, but i obviously still had symptoms which were impacting my ability to function. people don't just take psychiatric medication because they're "uneducated" about other options. they take them because if you find one that ACTUALLY works for you, it REALLY fucking works. if you have a healthy lifestyle and a great diet yet you still think about suicide every single day, or you have other very obvious symptoms of something not being quite right, it really is worth just trying medication.
Isn't thinking about suicide everyday normal past 25 years old?
ashwaganda bombs your test, friends
obviously not, no matter what your mentally ill internet friends tell you
How can anyone not think about it past 25?
fucking idiot
whoa dude but I beat the joos by taking this supplement made by non-pharma joos
drei liter
Proof ? Why do you autists always speak out of your asses ?
(((they))) make the supplements. there's no escape.
