Think about like a normie office worker diet: breakfast sandwich and a coffee with all kinds of sugary shit, burger and fries for lunch with a soda or tea with assloads of sugar, dinner might actually be a sensible meal but by that point they've had these calorie bombs that are packed with simple carbs more than anything else. It's no wonder so many people blow the fuck up.
To make things worse, fat logic dictates that if muh metabolism is slow then one should exercise to lose weight, but then you feel more hungry so you eat more. There's no fucking end.

Not really, practically all normies think metabolism regularly differs by a lot(In their minds somewhere around +/- 1000kcal

Consider the following
Through out history people have lived only a single bad harvest or minor war away from starvation.
If some indivduals had some sort of genetic difference which allowed them to survive on drastically less calories they would have had a huge evolutionary advantage. After all the famines in human history just about every man woman and child would have these genes since everyone else would have starved to death.

Ive done 7 day and rebounded hard when it was over, despite cravings being minimal during. Is a longer fast going to help with that more or am I beyond fucked?

I'm reasoning from an evolutionary viewpoint as to why the slow metabolism excuse made my fatties is invalid.

I used to have extremely slow metabolism. I shit once a week when I was a kid(fat). Now that I am fit I shit once or twice a day

total daily energy expenditure. Both guys at the same weight with similar muscle mass with equal activity levels with require similar amounts of energy because of law of thermodynamics. Think of metabolism more about the energy required to maintain homeostasis. A 300lb fatty is going to need more energy to sustain that mass than a 140 lb 15 year old boy.

I just did 14 and it helped a lot.

Take your temperature and make sure your metabolism isn't cucking you.

You're right. Descendants of American Indians, Irish, and other groups with a history of famines are especially prone to hypothyroidism. Storing fat and running on high cortisol is a defense mechanism that works against us in this high-calorie world.

Daily expenditure of calories is definitely a real thing. Exercise burns it and so does simply having a large amount of muscles.
But you need to ask yourself: why do bodybuilders use T3 (Cytomel) for weight loss?
How much more can you eat on T3 and not gain weight?
Now imagine someone deficient in T3.
Moral of the story is: take your temperature make sure it's right around 98.6f/37c.
