What's the final verdict?
cardio before lift

where the fuck are all these clips coming from please respond
>poverty cardio before lifting
>cardio after lifting or on a separate day
Cardio during lift.
If you're a guy, you should be getting all the cardio you need by lifting big. Heavy weight training is proven to work the heart just as much as any "cardio" you may do.
Heavy lifters who do fuck all else tend to have piss poor endurance overall.
It works the heart yes, but you still have shitty endurance and cardiovascular ability.
Athletes do strength endurance lifting, hiit, and distance running for a reason.
Lift, then do carries.
HIIT works best as a weight training circuit. Cardio is a waste of good calories.
t. vo2let
You do you but running outside is god tier. Unless you live in the ghetto, nothing feels better than going on a nice long outdoor run.
Separate cardio from weightlifting, but if you must do both, cardio following weightlifting. Why? Aerobic energy production can use lactic acid produced by weightlifting as a substrate which will aid in reducing post workout soreness.
cardio before and after
>bike to gym
>lift
>bike home
easy
This is hot especially because it's just girl sports and they don't know that girl sports are just an international scam against women so they won't want to be fat. But they think it actually matters and try to comfort each other. But it's all just sexual to us.
Girl sports don't matter.
Beautiful webm
>ever doing cardio
ISHYGDDT
This, my gains and overall physique has improved a lot when I started biking to the gym.
I do this but my town doesn't have any bike lanes, I'm not allowed to ride on the sidewalks, and the speed limit is 40mph. So basically I go at night, have police stationed at every point of my route and it's ok because at least I get some cardio in. Fuck cars and fuck big businesses influencing America. Take your pills, drive your car, buy basketball shoes. Fuck.
Athlean X settled this, do cardio after you lift. non-negotiable
Fucking this
Never on the same day.
>This is what the gymrat brainlet believes
Have fun dying in a sauna
Zyzz didn’t lift heavy thats why he died in the sauna. That plus cocaine.
cocaine plus abusing steroids the year he started lifting. Shit ain't good for your heart.
THIS PLEASE
Where do I watch t&f events?
ESPN8 - The Ocho
It depends on your goal. Do you just want to burn more calories? Or do you want to train cardio and endurance? The latter would be the more healthful goal and would achieve better results in the long run
Yeah okay but which leads to which
Which one burns more calories?
before and after
male sports are just human cock fights for the pleasure of women to choose their favorites to fuck
You can burn more calories doing lifting or you can burn more with cardio. Just depends how much you do.
I don't know how athletic you already are. Personally, I can't do my best cardio if I do it on a gym day. I do all of my running on separate days. I set distance and speed goals for myself on every one of these days. If I do run on a gym day it's to burn extra calories and stretch out my muscles, tendons, & joints.
Will my gym session be effected if I run 3 miles at 7am and then lift at 6pm?
Which is more important to you?
Do that first
Additionally the spike in GH from lifting will be anticatabolic
Probably. Try it and find out
[ ]be tired
[ ]lift heavy and in good form
Pick one.
>Cardio is a waste of good calories.
So eat more ya dingus.
>t. has never won a fight in his life.
best to do cardio after lifting since you want to put most ur energy on lifting
IT DOESN'T MATTER.
>being this fucking autistic
Creeps just walk onto the track after the race I think
Cardio after you lift, can back up with my own evidence: just recently did two lanes swimming as a warm up, did some heavy pulls and presses afterwards, went back to do some more lanes and not only did I swim faster, I also had more control over the direction and got less tired. Lifting then cardio really does work.
>after I give em the dicc
Sounds pretty based to me. IN MY EXPERIENCE, yeah, real life experience as a 2x HS state champ wrestler who went D1 (and then burned out and quit, but hey, Jow Forumster than you faggots):
>run 30-45min immediately after leg day
>swim 40-45min immediately after push, pull, or just upper body days
>you can do either on a MWF full body program, just make sure TThSaSu are true rest days
Your shit will blow up, you'll have muscular AND cardio endurance, and you'll have more time to spend on recovery.
basically do cardio and you will end up like THIS
>me on the right
Do whatever the FUCK you wanna do!
So much for no fap...
cardio, rest a few minutes then lift
He looks like the fucking Crypt Keeper, he needs more fat
don't do cardio, go for walks every day and do HIIT sometimes
this guy is a fucking idiot
>>Heavy weight training is proven to work the heart just as much as any "cardio" you may do.
[Citation needed.]
10min cardio before weightlifting to get the blood going and warm up a little. Specific cardio days for cardiovascular days and to train the heart muscle.
Never cardio after weight lifting because it draws blood from the pumped muscle.
End of hearing
GAINS not DAYS fucking dyel autocorrect
How do I turn this shit off
that "idiot" is de facto the #1 most knowledgeable person in the entirety of human history when it comes to understanding the human body in Jow Forums context
kys you fucking mong
Steady state cardio after lifting
no cardio at all, do hiit
Nice one user
>do anaerobic exercise to work out your heart!
Yer an idiot.
based camera man
Wake up at 6 am and do 25 minute on bike or 25 min jog 3 times a week. Lift later in the evening of possible. Dont overdo the cardio becasue you will burn the muscle. Eat alot on cardio days as well.
>Never cardio after weight lifting because it draws blood from the pumped muscle.
Is this truth?
no
You've never watched athletics? Hardbody qt3.14s all around and the cameramen give zero fucks.
>tfw I fell for this and my endurance completely turned to shit after a year
>couldn't run more than 10 minutes without my lungs burning and my heart pounding through my chest
Fuck you. It took me months of serious cardio to get my endurance back.
I just warm up running three miles, its not a bad way to start your workout and get that blood flowing.
>HIIT works best as a weight training circuit
You have to be fit to do HIIT correctly.
Secondly these fucking idiots don't know how to do a fucking lifting circuit. They fucking think a set of heavy ass deadlifts WHILE WEARING A BELT AND STRAPS with piss poor form is good enough cardiovascular training for fucks sake.
They know less then fuck all about basic fitness stuff like circuits, and drop sets, and pumps, and the basic fucking idea that just because you can lift it doesn't mean that you should if you are willing to sacrifice form and your health to do so.
It's fucking ridiculous.
If that's the way women want to look at it, sure. But that's irrelevant.
I only do cardio for about ten minutes before I do weights, just so I can warm myself up and get blood flowing.
>What's the final verdict?
Rich Piana said that you need to do cardio every day but it has to be done separately to not interfere with lifting.
>do cardio in the morning
>hit weights hours later
>hit weights in the morning
>do cardio hours later
>cardio
of course "IT'S THE BEST CASE SCENARIO"
if you can't do it separately do it after lifting, doing it right before you hit the weights will simply make you tired
Fucking hell, this video is god damn stupid. His entire video falls apart if you know that you have to wait a bit after doing cardio (OR ANY EXERCISE FOR THAT MATTER) so your blood flow and heart rate returns to a lower level and you catch your breath. It's like taking a break between reps. What a retard.
>does 40 hops, doesn't waste more than five seconds to start doing pull-ups
>WOOOOW WHY CAN'T I DO THESE LIKE I DID YESTERDAAAAAY I'M SO TIRED
>CARDIO KILLS YOUR GAINS
This, it's amazing how almost no one points that out in the comments. I've been doing cardio before my workouts for years, but I always take at least a five minute break and I had no issues hitting the same maximums I did on days where I didn't do cardio because of time constraints.
If you aren't warming up with at least 5 minutes of jogging/erg rowing you're not gonna make it.
>Rich Piana said that you need to do cardio every day
Oh ok. Well if the guy who died in mid forties said it, it must be true.
It was clearly the cardio that killed Rich Piana.
I lift in the morning and have a long hard cycle or swimming session in the evening.
Also this tho. Every lifting session should start with a 10-15 minute light cycle and should ideally be followed by one as well
>die in an accident
>everything you said becomes invalid because you died
He died because he was on drugs. Not indicative of good common sense.
he died because he knocked himself out after he fall, stopped breathing and this caused permanent brain damage
ban bathroom tiles
>he died because he stopped breathing
If he were smaller he would never have had to turn sideways to get through the door. Totally different and more stable stride
The main issue with that is well what do you want to use your glucose storage for? For doing faggy cardio or hitting PR's? That extra little bit goes a long way and you use it all up if you do cardio before lifting. Some of your glucose binds to water and is stored in your muscles for immediate usage. So be smart with that.
For endurance gains do cardio before lifting
For strength gains do lifting before cardio
((If you HAVE to do them in the same time slot))
Jeff nippard does a video on this.
I read in a mens fitness freebie from GNC that cardio after weight training can kill gainz but doing short periods of cardio or HIIT before weight training won't
listening to some midget on youtube
>don't do cardio
>do cardio instead
Apparently if you're trying to Target specific areas for fat loss working out that area then doing cardio improves it and nothing else does
pace?
7 minute mile. Not fast at all. Just feels good man
What if cardio is your main focus and lifting is secondary?
do cardio after weight lifting, weightlifting uses up ATP, cardio uses up your ATP, prioritize weightlifting then do cardio afterwards otherwise if you do cardio first the lift your lifts won't be as big.
it's fine...
but lift before cardio is still better...
