I can only bench 90 lbs for 5 reps and the last two are crap. When do I start lifting 400+ weights?

When you stop being a faggot
Just put 95 on next time. Do it even if your form is bad. Just a little bit more even if you're not completely ready. You don't have to do full ROM and your form doesn't have to be perfect at 95. Then deload to 90 and it'll feel lighter. Only 5 pounds. Repeat this every week with 5 more pounds.
I started with the bar at age 13 for reps to practice form. I hit 405 at 23. Most people won't ever do that kind of weight.
The weight isn't what matters. What matters is you are healthier, feel better, look better, and getting stronger.
If you are lifting for a sport don't neglect agility, speed, endurance, and flexibility training.
Add 2.5 lbs to each side the next time you do bench. Then add 5 lbs to each side and do what you can. Do this every week, always adding 5 lbs to the starting point of your next bench session. Your tits and strength will grow like weeds.
In time, friend.
Keep at it till you can do 15 good ones and 5 shitty ones. Then put another 5 pounds on. Eventually you'll be able to suckerpunch a Kia.
How do you train for the other stuff you mentioned
>lift more weight than you can handle. and do it with bad form
solid advice user
>lift the same weight for the rest of your life
It's better to put on more weight and have someone spot you so your muscles increase
Do you want to make it or not?
>add increasing weight every single bench
Isn't it every single week? That just sounds like a bad way to overtire your muscles and not make any size or strength gains
About 5 years if you dont have shit genetics
But if you can only bench 90lbs now u probably have those
>But if you can only bench 90lbs now u probably have those
W-we all start from somewhere isn't that right user
>snap city
>making it
Bump.
Do I really have bad genetics? I've been lifting on and off for a couple of months and consistently for the past month in which my bench has gone from 60 to 80.
>this kills the OP
so either lift too heavy with shit form
or
lift same weight forever
nigga its not black and white. there is a world of middle ground
>When do I start lifting 400+ weights?
When you earn it
>When do I start lifting 400+ weights
unironically never
pessimistic as fuck
90% of the dudes throwing around 400+ on bench are either
>fat
>roiding
>genetic freaks who benched 225+ the first time in the gym
The rest got there with 5+ years of very consistent training
Somebody please respond
eat more
If you are talking about pounds and not kg you should really eat more or push urself harder/change program. Bench AT LEAST twice a week
U got shit genes if u can only bench 90 starting. Or u must be skelly.
My first day in the gym 135 for 5 bench
Pretty fucken shit considering ive been lifting 2 years now and can only hit 185 for 8
>lifting heavy for health
>totally doesn't get shit ton of injuries
you're seriously retarded mate
so you rather put more shit than you can handle just so you can injury yourself rather than add little by little like an ACTUAL NORMAL PERSON who isn't this fucking dumb and do the exercise right?
Are you american or just baiting?
