What if I take BCAA and protein+carbohydrate powder?
When should I take it and in which amounts?
Thoughts on BCAA?
BCAA's are a meme
BCAAs are a meme and protons mostly already have some grams added. Use EAAs instead
all the fucking dyels will shit on them
and they aren't necessary if you get enough dietary protein consistently during the day
However, I personally do bcaa's throughout the day, with eaa's preoworkout and intra workout with cyclic dextrine
Because you know, i'm not a fuckin poorfag neet and actually look like i lift.
tfw you need a shelf full off additives to look like you lift
The guy at the gym told me, because I'm skinny to go on BCAA+5:1 carb/protein with creatine for a month or so, and then go on EAAs. So I guess if you start lifting they are good.
nah senpai, its how you look like you roid while being natty
>and they aren't necessary if you get enough dietary protein consistently during the day
But what if I don't?
Pics
then fix that shit and get more protein. if you have to choose between supplements it should go
whey>cyclic dextrine> eaa>bcaa
obviously pumped. i'm leaner now,but this was when i was getting accused left and right
BCAAs are for preserving muscle while cutting. (and even then, the amount of difference they actually make is debatable.)
If you're not cutting, they are basically just expensive protein powder.
BCAA's are worthless while being more expensive than whey
WHEY ALREADY HAS BCAA'S
bullshit claim
I hope you know protein is made of BCAAs, and that a scoop of your average protein powder has about 6 grams of BCAAs binded to the protein. So think of that the next time you consider buying a 30 dollar tub of powder that boasts 6g of BCAAs in it per scoop. I mean, if you like the flavor and having a drink in the gym, I can understand that. But know BCAAs have a very limited and debatable scope of use.
Why do most protein powders have so much sugar? It's disgusting
don't look roided at all
>WHEY ALREADY HAS BCAA'S
yeah, and bcaa doesn't have all the other shit that whey has. because of this, bcaa is absorbed instantly, most of it straight to your bloodstream past the liver. the way it works is completely different.
First time on powder supplements, and when do I stop being bloated 24/7 despite taking a dump three times a day?
lifts, height, and time spent lifting plz
eat more fiber and drink water
you need full set of amino-acids for protein synthesis tho , how is working differently then user? please explain
I don't see a point in supplementing them if you have enough protein in your diet which gives you enough BCAA's already
what BCAA's do seem to be strictly hypothetically.
It gets absorbed from your intestines much faster and is a good fuel source with good availability for your muscles. It also can be used as an easily available building block for proteins that require many of BC aminoacids (common in muscles).
Leucine is also positively correlated with leptin activity.
In other words unnecessary but might help especially for people that are on a huge caloric deficits.
yeah but you can just use carbonhydrates instead they're a much better source of energy than BCAA's and carbs and bcaa's both have 4calories per gram
If someone would be on a huge caloric deficit he would benefit more from getting a full pack of amino acids noe? since they're both the same calories anyway and as stated previously you need a all amino-acids for muscle synthesis to occur
If you are actually interested then read about insulin, what triggers its release, insulin tolerance and related topics. It's too much to explain in one post.
It's all a combination of broscience, actual science and medical knowledge but it boils down to BCAA being a superior source of easy-access energy on a cut.
I'm a physisian so I have some basic knowledge and with some additional reasearch it makes sense to me.
So this is the power of natty lifting...
Also to add to the my previous post. I'm using BCAA preworkout and postworkout.
I was a fat fuck and I managed to lose 20kg within 2.5months and gain roughly 1.5kg of muscles at the same time.
I can't contribute this sucess to use of BCAAs but I think they really help me maintain the plan of extreme caloric deficit and still having the energy during a workout which I do 6days/week.
Sorry about the quality of my writing - I took Zolpidem 30 minutes ago and it's working.
