>I gained 2kg in less than 2 weeks bulking for the first time. MFP says I should be gaining 0.25kg/week.
>I also do SS 3x a week.
>feel like my belly is getting bigger
I gained 2kg in less than 2 weeks bulking for the first time. MFP says I should be gaining 0.25kg/week
I was 80.1kg and now 82 kg. I am 6 foot also. fear of getting stretch marks. But I don't want to get lean first by cutting because I'll lose the little strenght I have
>bench 25kg
>OHP 25kg
>squat 55kg
>deadlift 55kg
Dude those numbers better be one side of the barbell
taking it slow and safe
bump
Do you even leave the gym feeling tired with those numbers.
Not to be mean or anything, but you should push yourself a little more in the gym. With noob gains you should be able to put on 5lbs on each of your lifts per session pretty easily.
In 2 months of lifting I went from benching 70lbs to 165lbs and 90lbs to 225lbs
Push yourself and you'll see results. Give yourself the chance to fail and see where your limits really are.
*90lbs squats to 225 I should correct myself
Dude my 50kg gf benches more than that
I was going for 5kg each week but I'll do it each session.
no way you only bench 25 kg. A first timer should bench at least 40 kg. You are wasting your time if you are not pushing yourself and that goes for the rest of your lifts too.
>tfw wife nearly 2-3x higher lifts than a grown ass 180lb man
well, guess she's made it
i haven't pushed myself your right on my bench. And my best is 60kg on deadlift and squat. I just get tired after doing a 60kg squat 3x5
I bet he could bench way more, but has some kind of mental block that keeps him from pushing past it.
I've seen it in all kinds of people while I worked as a ski instructor. They typically never really did much physical activity as a kid so they have no idea where their limit is or how to push past a mental barrier like that.
Add into that they're adults and more risk averse and it takes a longer time to heal from injuries and people have a hard time.
Being a coach or instructor of any kind of physical activity is actually just hyping people up and telling them they can do it and building their confidence. The whole teaching part is just part of building their confidence so they can do the thing.
Anybody could learn to ski or snowboard from youtube, but they can't hype themselves up so thats why they pay so much to get lessons.
bro, it's too early to get me fucking hyped for some snowboarding.
You should be tired. I feel like I'm going to fail my 5th rep on every excercise and I harness pure beserker rage to finish the rep.
I physically cannot stop myself from growling like some kind of caveman because of the stress I'm putting on my body.
Find that limit and look at yourself in the mirror when you do the excercise. You'll see the man you could be. The beserker viking inside you waiting to be unleashed.
You'll feel the rage and triumph of pushing that boundary at what you thought was possible. In that moment you redefine yourself as someone better.
You are a fucking man. You are gonna lift heavy and you're going to unleash the fucking rage boiling inside of you waiting to be let out.
NOW GO KILL THOSE FUCKIGN WEIGHTS
Your TDEE is probably inaccurate. Honestly I have no clue how accurate those things are. Especially when it comes to determining level of exercise.
Just back off and eat fewer calories/day.
not that guy but I have a heart condition that actually doesn't allow me to lift. Is taking it easy justified in that case?
Thanks user will do.
I've tried cutting to 1500 calories a day while lifting so I could do a lean gain but that was dangerous both physically and mentally. In hindsight I went from one extreme to the next but my TDEE reads 28XX and 500 more is 3222 calories. Lifting at maintenance seems like common sense but bulking is what is recommended. And I plan on bulking for a year slowly.
Shit I don't know. You should consult with your doctor.
So, are you counting the bar as well? an oly bar is 20kg.
>lean gain
>1500
I'm sorry, but what?
Is 1500 cals a bulk for you or not?
yeah. My Bench is probably the same as my OHP which is 33kg max.
Oh no 1500 was a massive cut. I thought my TDEE was 23XX and I that I just had a deficiet of 700 so I could get skinny but apparently my tdee is 28XX because I lift 3x a week.
I hope this is a troll. No one fucks up this badly. And you can't gain on a cut, period.
2.5kg each lift (1.25kg each side)
you gym does have micro plates, right?
am I a benchlet? been lifting 3 months. still haven't cracked lmao1pl8
yes I think you should have cracked that by now. Try benching at least 3 times a week and also don't forget to actually increase the weight at least once a week. You also may need to increase your calorie intake.
I'm struggling hard to reach 1.5pl8 bench after 10 weeks of training but I'm on a caloric deficit that makes me lose 1.7kg/week. I can so 1pl8 6x7.
Would I lift it if I simply ate at a maintenance that day?
I started lifting about 3 and a half weeks ago, and I pretty much have/had similiar lifts to you. My bench was 22,5 when i started (8 reps) but it quickly grows if you push yourself. I already have it at 35 kg (5 reps). Your chest is super weak when you start, but it will quickly grow if you're pushing yourself consistently. Keep it up OP!
Dude, I just got into the gym, and my 'safe' lifts are 50kg bench, 60kg squat, 100kg deadlift
how long have you been training?
im same weight and height
dumbell bench press 36kg
ohp 60kg
squat 130kg
deadlift 170kg
ive been training for 5 months. you're doing something wrong mate
120lbs 6" here
My parents never gave me enough food and when I started lifting 4 months ago I literally couldn't even bench the bar (My pecs were so small that you could see my ribcage through them)
I moved out and started eating right and I'm slowly moving away from the baby weights
Not everyone can step into the gym and deadlift 200lbs, don't let this stop you from making it bruh
What the hell are you doing every day that your tdee is almost 1000 calories over mine at the same weight/height? And judging from your lifts I don't see why you can't increase the weight while being on the lightest (+200cal) bulk ever.
talk to your doctor.
Whatever he says, just go to the gym and figure out how to lift a little bit.
Maybe do weights in the 20 rep range so it's not strained.
>120lbs
>6 inches tall
Christ, you are one fat fucking manlet
>But I don't want to get lean first by cutting because I'll lose the little strenght I have
no you retard, you should absolutely cut now or you will look like shit for 2 years. you can easily get stronger on a deficit since your lifts are still DYEL tier
