low-top converse all-stars

High top converse all stars.

Anything gum rubber is goat

Attached: shoes.jpg (300x200, 8K)

These are my lifting shoes, most days. Work for boxing too.

And these are for walking/working/class

ive never liked hightops but those are pretty dope

Attached: shoes.jpg (1000x933, 430K)

Do high-tops cause any mobility problems with lifting?
Also I've never personally liked high-tops. Probably because I'm relatively short and shoes that make my legs look smaller would just be goofy on me.

Copped these for squats, have improved foot stability and I shuffle a lot less between reps now

Attached: APP3.jpg (600x600, 23K)

I've got these. They're comfy.

Right? Mine have black lining, and until I had to swim half a mile in them (which totally fucked them up) I was catching mires every other day for them

Also, I wear ankle and knee braces, use a smith machine, and hire someone to do the lifts for me. It's makes it a lot easier.

>adidas GAZELLE II Navy Blue Leather / Gold Trim
Bought it for $30, two years ago.
Absolutely love them.

Attached: p.jpg (140x140, 7K)

I think Ive seen them once at my local shop, do they have wool inside of them? Because if they do, I just might buy them since im moving to Boston and I still want to enjoy the Vans aesthetic.

LOL I squat 170kg m8, at that weight my flat cons weren't cutting it anymore
Also deadlift 200kg+ beltless/strapless etc so shows what you know

They’ve been good to me thus far

Attached: 4E15ACC8-98E9-4CD3-A054-8D0738D8D17A.jpg (600x600, 18K)

Oh yeah, they're super fuzzy inside. They're actually not half bad winter shoes; I work in a dairy cooler and they keep my feet nice and warm all day long

same for me. bought them online and didn't realize how annoying the tongue is, but at least i'm used to it by now. fantastic fit otherwise

Attached: images (11).jpg (255x243, 8K)

I also wear these.

Attached: images (12).jpg (250x183, 9K)

I actually don’t mind the tongue. I originally bought them because I used to play indoor soccer, then pulled them from the back of the closet when I needed a new lifting shoe. I lift at home but I imagine if you are in a public gym they probably give you a little character without being a converse fag

Same person. These if it's cold.

Attached: images (13).jpg (398x369, 18K)

>I work in a dairy cooler
damn bro, not to be a boomer but that takes me back to when I was 17-19, slinging 700 gallons of milk a day until shelves and pulling the stacks off trucks and shit. Was actually a really cool job.

cont.
I still wear the knee and ankle braces to deadlift of course. And obviously use the smith machine. At that weight, my muscles weren't cutting it anymore.

Same
What size do you have?
I'm 44/11

i've always had a pair of addidas lying around, but i bought the sambas on a recommendation in one of these threads since i was looking for a new gym shoe. stopped being a converse guy when the shoes stopped selling for $20

Attached: adidas-ultra-boost-cg3004-official-release-info.jpg (940x660, 248K)

38

damn bro, sounds sick, im just a college cunt moving to Boston to get my worthless degree

yeah they really did a good job of marketing shit canvas shoes to normies and being able to overcharge

>bought green ultraboosts for $180 a couple months ago
>start deadlifting heavier
>don't know if the diddling caused this, but my feet grow a whole shoe size and a half.
>be poorfag with no shoes

>my feet grow a whole shoe size and a half
Unless you're a kiddo your arches probably dropped due to your nice running shoes doing all the support work for them. Go with flat, thin, and flexible soles, and don't constrict your toes.

Candy and butter on toast pisses me off for some reason. Stupid fucking Aussies.

> Deadlifting in ultraboosts
Are you trying to snap your ankles in half?

I use low profile/ barefoot shoes for lifting
Sneakers only for walking around, work, etc

i'm not sure if you know, but Adidas sells a version of the Sambas with a short tongue. :)

No they're not

>all these adidasfags

Sure is yurop in here

Hightops? Or just in vans or shoes in general?Because if its shoes in general I agree completely.

>Thott shoes

based

>he doesn't lift barefoot in his /homegym/
not gonna make it

GAY

hey Joe big fan

Was gonna post this in the qtddtot but fuck it.

I wear a pair of knockoff converse low tops to the gym. I don't like how they look with my tracksuit pants, and since these ones are wearing out I'm gonna get new shoes. I want hi top sneakers that will ve ok for bodybuilding/pl lifts. Oly isn't a concern. Planing to alter my tracksuit pants to have a slight taper to show them off, and continuing to wear my old band shirts.

Are there any relatively cheap substitutes for chuck taylors? I'm an ausfag, so buying brand names from 'Murcia basically means slapping another 50 doklarydoos onto retail price. I like how the hi too chucks looks though, ether straight black or with the white laces.

oath my brotha

well, goddamnit, i do now
thanks m8

Asics Onitsuka Tiger

I used to wrestle in high school, so I have a soft spot in my heart for Asics.

only correct choice coming thru

>blowing all your money on nigger shoes instead of on gains
not going to make it

BASED. I wear the white ones, but feiyues are god tier

>not being able to afford $160 shoes

Love these. So comfortable

very nice, I have those in leather

Nice fucking eye poison

Go away Nike nigger.

gordon rush OLIVER - BLACK

>red shoes for lifting
>brown shoes for casual wear

why not just have 1pair and use for both.

t. wears gray chucks for gym and social

different user, but I've read that high tops provide ankle support.
but never owned a pair so can't comment personally.

lowtop vans for lyfe

>uncooked white bread
>toast
yeah it's the Aussies who are stupid

i really really like them 80's white reeboks.

Attached: fresch.jpg (700x700, 81K)

>tracksuit pants
>wanting to show off shoes at the gym
brah, I hope you mean joggers. and why do you want gymbros to mire your shoes?

having said all that. SurfStitch often has Vans and Chucks on sale from anywhere between $40-$60.
otherwise K-Mart shoes will last a year or two for a tenner

All aboard the hype train

>Year of our lord 2018
>Wearing shoes with more than a 3mm sole
>Wearing shoes with more than a 0 drop
>Wearing shoes that strangle your toes and narrow your feet

Also why do people get these adidas/nike/reebok hype-colour-style-match shit. Basically instathots.

Perhaps it is a double-edged sword to have experience minimal shoes, because anything else is so fucking uncomfortable now. And OK I'll admit it, I'm mad that they are 2-3x the price of basic sneakers with less style options.

>inb4 vibram 5-fingers. No.

I have flat feet. Can't really exist without arch support

>He falls for the zero drop meme
Enjoy your strained Achilles

Sambas for running
Merrils for hiking and lifting and sexing

It sure is, americlap.

Attached: squat_in_piece.jpg (657x608, 93K)

>strained Achilles
How immobile are you?
Are you one of those stiffs that cannot squat comfortably and put his knees up his armpits while doing so?

Yes. I injured my self running in those Altra zero drop shoe. Avoided it since then.

tips for achieving a third world squat when not wearing lifting shoes?

Good choice! I personally dig the one with the yellow and black colored one.
There’s literally nothing wrong with Jordans. Nobody cares if they are “nigger shoes” outside of the US and most people in my country mire them.
Pic related are mine. I’m currently trying to cop a Retro 7 Olympic Blue and Red but can’t find anything so far.

Well did you start out getting used to running them as gradually as recommended, and check your form?
Also I'm talking about for general wear, walking, gym.
I don't run much anyway, just walking, swimming and intensity stuff sled and jumprope.

Have you ever walked without wearing shoes at al? Run on the beach? You absolutely do not need to wear a shoe with drop and cushions.

these

Too many city bitches in this thread.

Attached: 20180821_021810.jpg (3984x2988, 3.3M)

>actually owning cowboy boots
doesnt matter where you live are you fucking retarded?

>not wanting to spend more cash on something that you could get for a quarter of the price at the same quality but without the branding.

As a /fa/ggot I disapprove of this thread.

I lift in chuck all star 70s black
Adidas Olympic lifting shoes for the squat and Olympic lifts
Adidas gazelles for all other cases because I'm eurotrash

Vans/nike are fucking gay stop wearing them

I unironically ride horses.

Sambas are great. Powerlifts fucked my knees.

okay then understandable, still lame but understandable

>cookiecutter

Vans and nike are just the same to be fair. I've worn a lot of vans but the quality has gone down and price has gone up from when I first got some 10 years ago. And they're fucking everywhere now.

At least no one has posted Timberlands. They're just fucking average boots with a brand name. You can find better options anywhere, apart from hype-stores.

grabbed these for 75 bucks a couple of months ago, love lifting in em. when im out of the gym i usually just wear vans or converse low tops

Attached: weight-lifting.jpg (565x416, 22K)

Attached: 101_01.jpg (2000x2000, 265K)

got these for 25 good boy points last winter, figured since I go through footwear so fast at my height/weight, might as well not splash out too much

still going strong, 9/10 desu

Attached: Screenshot_2018-08-21-15-58-04.jpg (1302x1023, 369K)

I wore that same shoe to multiple music festivals but they looked completely fucked after a rainy EF last year. Are you gonna clean them and wear again?

I wear boots 8 months out of the year, was thinking of lifting in them. What difference do you guys find between wearing boots and wearing sneakers?
