Why are you cutting?

Go for a clean (emphasis on clean ffs) bulk and grow everything. Don't neglect your traps and lats, and more chest couldn't hurt.

I've also been hovering for years trying to like quasi-bulk, quasi-cut and just ended up being slightly muscular and skinnyfat. Was 195 pounds in January.

Definitely going to do a clean bulk once I get lean.. and yeah, the traps need work, they're my least favorite muscle to work.

If I were you I would start lifting heavy and eating heavy with IF. That is what worked for me.
Explanation below:

I personally don't believe in bulking and cutting. When I started lifting I was at the same weight as now but I looked terrible... big belly, no muscles whatsoever. I did a lot of stupid things before I figured out my body.

I looked like shit in april - after 6 months backpacking and eating street food. However one thing i figured out is that intermittent fasting works wonders for me.

I do one shake and one meal a day. I drink two scoops of whey + 5gr creatine + 15gr hydrolyzed collagen at around 6 .. and then when I start feeling really hungry I prepare my food. It usually 6 eggs with bacon and alot of cheeze or about a pound of beef with some chilly. Then I would add vegetables, or some spicy dip... I am guilty of eating mayo sometimes.... I would stuff my face and then have a nice small desert. I am honest - my body transformed since april and the meal plan is pretty easy to maintain. Working out... not so much desu... but if I skip the gym I try to do a few pull ups (i have a pull up bar) and a few pushups during the day.

tricep, forearm and ohp/incline bench work and you're golden
