Just get pants that fit well, you don't have to get skinny pants but I'd recommend looking for a cut that'll hug your butt and calves. You'd be amazed at how much a well fitting pair of pants will improve how you look. Don't wear shorts ever, unless you're at something that specifically requires shorts, and then never wear shorts that go below the knee.
For shirts you can usually get away with tshirts, plain colors are good. Graphic design tees are fine as long as they're not too autistic. You want a snug fit in the shoulders and arms, and a looser fit below the chest especially if you haven't made it yet.
Lastly get a nice pair of shoes that aren't for the gym.
It's not hard as a guy to look like you dress well effortlessly.

my main styles are jeans shoes and a tshirt or polo.

chinos (any color) dress/button down shirt and some nice desert boots or dress shoes

Thank you for pointing out that I haven't tailored my pants. I'm too lazy to get them done. I'm either working working out or going out. I've always gotten them done but haven't made time to do so. As for the shoes I'm wearing Adidas dragons. I like the way they look. I know wearing an athletic shirt with Jean's and belt looks stupid but I was going for a 60s 70s look. I didn't execute it properly. As for the hair I barely showered after working out and didn't feel like styling it. I like 60s clothing and soul music a lot so I always go forthat look. I like to go to soul or reggae clubs so that's why I always dress this way

Funny cause I have a closet full of polos and button ups. I barely started liking dress shirts and buying some but never have the time to wear them since I'm always working and the little time I do have I'm working out. I try to go for the 60s 70s look since I'm into that era of music and fashion. I collect record vinyl singles and plan to DJ soon however I want to perfect my physique so I can wear sharp clothes for that

I mean I just think the functional and simple look of big pilots is appealing though. Other than limited releases they're pretty unassuming and look good with all casual wear. Just knowing a lot of people with flashy rolexes or omegas I lean towards the conservative choice. I like the Panerais, especially as a big face guy. Do they have decent looking pilot equivalents?

no bro it's a diving brand. Panerai's have the easiest dial to read imo - and they are deffo a conversation started if you see one in the wild. Try one on and see what you think. Personally I like the submersible 243 but if you like bigger go for a 47mm - they will wear smaller than your IWC would.

The 243 and 111 are my only panerais. Both 44mm. If you're thinking about buying, buy second hand and don't stray from the luminors or the radiomirs in steel. Anything else like your pic won't hold value.
