On SS you should be adding 5lbs per session to your squat three times a week. That’s 15lbs per week. At that rate it will take you 5 weeks to go from 235 to 315. Which is less than a month and a half.

You don't get fat by not doing cardio, you get fat by overeating.
To lose fat you eat less, which is what you should have done before starting SS.
