How do I quit smoking weed?
How do I quit smoking weed?
Just stop. I stopped two weeks ago. First week is hard because you are in the habit of smoking weed all the time, but that goes away.
I have been having super fucked up dreams for the last week, but those seem to be slowing down. Saturday night was the worst, I had a dream that this shape-shifting witch kept following me around and I had the feeling it wouldn't stop unless I dueled them in some way. Woke up freaked out, and entirely covered in sweat, and then fell back asleep and went right back into that dream.
With that said, I've felt less depressed, and have been able to fall asleep after having major issues with that. I doubt I will smoke again, I get too dependent upon it. I rarely drink, so I'm basically going to be sober from now on.
How is your appetite?
Mine was fine this time, but previously when I've stopped, I wasn't really hungry for 3-4 days, then it comes back.
It seems daunting, and hard, but if you are seriously considering stopping, you probably should, and will be glad that you did. Even with the fucked up dreams, I'm still glad I did.
Stop hanging out with people that smoke weed
I smoke by myself
Started to help with DOMS and now every time I finish a workout and don't smoke the pain is almost overwhelming
It's like I've got addicted to it as a painkiller or a PED or something is it just mental?
Want to quit too but last time i tried i was awake for 3days, need that shit to sleep but cost too much. any idea what to do??
Why should you?
As FP said, simply stop. I smoked daily for several years before quitting about 9 months ago for career reasons. Weed isn't physiologically addictive, it's psychologically addictive imo. People become regular or daily smokers because there is some unpleasant stimulus in their life that compels them to mask it, and weed is an easy pick to fill the role. I also second that dreams will become an obstacle at first. I'd heard it somewhere that weed interferes with deep wave sleep. I don't know the actual validity of that claim, but as far as personal anecdotes go I can confirm that sleep is very different once you quit and whatever is going on in your life that's drove you to become a regular smoker or to quit may come to light in your dreams. Personally it was very painful the first few weeks to quit, not because of the absence of weed specially, but because of the extremely vivid dreams of memories I had long since buried by being a blissed out stoner. Just know that in your heart you chose to quit for a reason, and probably a good one user. Maybe someday when things are on a better track you can enjoy herb for what it is instead of using it as a patch for whatever misery afflicts you.
One day at a time brother, next year you'll wish you stopped today.
