Idk about routines but he needs to drink sips preworkout

SS + GOMAD

Something like New Rules Of Lifting Supercharged. It is fullbody programs with periodization. It also uses exercises progressions, for example for horizontal pressing you will do push ups, then DB bench presses and then barbell bench presses.

Stronglifts should work for a while if he hasn't lifted before

Starting Sips

SS + GOMAD (Gallon Of Monster A Day)

definitely not SS or SL unless you want your dumbass boomer dad in a wheelchair

unironically show him rippetoe's podcast, he is great for boomers and seems to me the only strength coach who actually designs routines and advice for them

Just bring him to the gym with you if you live near each other and show him the ropes. He doesn't need a program from day 1

>What’s the best program for boomers?
Die x 1

>What’s the best program for boomers?
Have him do Ending Strength. It's a geriatric linear regression where you take 5 lbs off the bar every session until you completely detrain and eventually expire.

Thanks bros
