After 7 years of lifting I have come to the conclusion that a bodybuilder body is not attractive, and that pic related is.

Just being lean and athletic is far superior. It didn’t require drugs or shit loads of calories, nor does it require progressively overloading to extremely heavy weights and tons of volume. Just lifting with light-moderate weights with minimum volume is more than enough to obtain the lean athletic body.

Good thing I found all these ancient statues, I admire them and their aesthetic 1000x more than modern bodybuilding tren bodies.

Pot body, Adonis.

That body is achieveable natty after 1-2 years lifting and getting to a low bodyfat

Why have such a low goal?

Well duh. Who here /ancient aesthetics/?

Sauce on that statue?

If your goal isn't Diomedes the guy who wounded Mars the god of war after patrolling Aphrodite the queen thot you are not going to make it.

Thats not ancient, thats arno berker no? Far from the Greek ideal.

It took you 7 years to figure that out?

>thats arno berker no?
Correct. I'm mobile-fagging and I don't have Greek/Roman stuff on my phone. That was the best I had

Sometimes seems off about his sculptures, there is something out of proportion and i don't like it. It also looks kitsch to me.

agreed

uncut dicks are remind me of elephants

post body

Thats a Nazi sculpture

In other words you've been lifting for 7 years and only managed to get about as big as the guy in your picture

I don't think there is any doubt the average woman prefers an athletic lean body to a super muscular one. Even most men would probably agree with that in terms of general aesthetics.

I was never specifically into bodybuilding but I've always lifted and toward the end of college I was very into powerlifting. I had gotten pretty big (188lb at 5'11", not especually huge for that height but I have a slim frame) and still had fairly low body fat, I just looked a lot "thicker". My arms and back especially were jacked. After college I continually got hurt and learned I had hypermobility disorder so no more powerlifting for me. I'm 28 now and focus mainly on general functional strength and athletic type conditioning. I still have muscles but I'm not nearly as strong and pretty lean at around 10-12% body fat most of the year at about 170lb. I get a whole lot more attention/compliments on my body than before and desu I've realized I think I look a lot better like this too. Granted the attention could be because everyone else I know from college has gotten fat and I just look good by comparison haha.

And?
Kind of impressive in this day and age considering 75% of the population is overweight

/brekerpill/ + IF is a good combo

>brekerpill
QRD?

you have been lifting 7 years without a goal in mind and thinking it will grant ypu pussy
this as vain as it gets

>thats arno berker no? Far from the Greek ideal.

are you high?

No, and im an art student so don't fucking (You) me

Bodybuilders do it out of passion, just as those who sweat for the statues you worship. That's fine if you dont like a certain body type but when you give the reason of vanity? That's pathetic.

>im an art student

Did I go beyond Ancient Greek/Roman mode or am I at the right point?

Holy fuck you nailed it.

I wouldn't do anything gay w/ you but I'd def rub my face and hands all over you and get hard and finish myself in the bathroom later. I'd pretend to be taking a huge shit but I'd be leaning on the sink looking at myself long and hard in the mirror and trying to will my blush away.

Thanks no homo

>a bodybuilder body is not attractive
You're just now realizing this? Fucking nobody thinks Jay Cutler or Ronnie Coleman looks sexy.

Stats and lifts (work sets or maxes)???

What's your routine and time lifting

if it takes more than a few months to look like OP's pic you're doing something very wrong

why not go for this, you get both the "bodybuilder look" and the greek aesthetic.

But I want to do tons of volume. Cranking out countless amounts of chin ups with Iron Bull grips feels right.

how do you manage staying so lean while maintaining such dense amount of muscle

My type of bread

Attached: 4444t.jpg (308x477, 17K)

>grow beard
>cut hair short with scissors, not buzzer
>eat gyro all day
>throw rocks

based and redpilled

I want to lick your quads

Imagine looking like this.

I refuse to raise children in the west. Deciding between japan or eastern europe for emigration.

because after you achieve that you start training running and javelin throwing.

I think they're too "perfect". As in he projected his idea of a perfect body onto the sculpture, instead of sculpting a real body that is beautiful. If you pay attention to the greek sculptures, the guys are far from flawless, they have love handles and thin arms and mediocre quads. Yet they look far better than breker's. That's my two cents I'm not educated in arts.

Honestly, if you can deal with removing some freedom. China is most based for liberal kike bullshit. Russia is just mini Jewmerica.

am i missing something? roman type sculptures always look amazing except a micro penis on them.

were they suppose to be bottoms? why not slap a 4-5inch flaccid on them?

Atlas motivated me to start lifting

Attached: atlas-1969922_960_720.jpg (480x720, 60K)

Not that guy but that's about 15%bf by my eyes, not so lean.

It would look silly or unpleasant to the Greeks

A big dick was considered a crude boorish man. A small dick meant a sophisticated man.

The dick isn't supposed to be the focus of the sculpture, so they minimized it to focus on the body.

Yes

I have an ugly, asymmetrical bone structure all over my body so I might just as well become a chunk of meat.

Attached: 1534273876921.jpg (480x480, 43K)

Holy fuck. No homo. Can anyone give me a routine to achieve this chest?

How much do you think this guy bench?

Fucking /thread right here. Superb quality post.

2pl8 and good insertions, also single digit bodyfat

I think this guy did 5x5 routine, but i'm not sure.

thats why im starting olympic weightlifting soon, trying to incorporate into the compounds and then some acessories/iso so I can work on overall aesthetics as well. oly lifting is also pretty explosive and you get pretty shredded by it since it burns a lot more kcals than regulkar training

I already look like a greek statue but I want herculean mode
