National Socialism was a failure of a system and wasn't economically feasible. That's why they needed war because without it, their whole economy would collapse because it was based on nothing but rearmament.

He did but it was Rudolph Hess and some other guy whose name I forgot (Rosenberg?) who did the writing. It was mostly just Hitler ranting to them.
He also wrote only the first volume in jail. Second volume he wrote when he got out and was living at a hotel in Bavaria.

If you're the sort of person who thinks that it'll be interesting then it probably will. I read it because I find Hitler's character to be interesting more so than his ideology. If you think you'll get something out of it then go ahead and download a PDF or something, it's not that long.

If you're the same as me and more interested in Hitler's personality then I'd also recommend "The Young Hitler I Knew" by August Kubizek, it kind of works as a biography of sorts written by his close childhood friend and reveals a lot about him. It's a good read and the PDF is pretty easy to find online, I'm pretty sure there's even an audiobook available on youtube.

I read it last summer at a comfy lake in Switzerland.
One of the best and most influential books Ive ever read.
I think the two books besides Mein Kampf who had the biggest influence on me are:
- Antifragility by Nassim Taleb
and
- Untergang des Abendlandes by Oswald Spengler.
Spengler lays down the Faustian spirit perfectly. You can only appreciate the last adventure of skyking if you read Spengler before.
Other books I would recommend:
- Mensch und Technik by Spengler
- The Industrial Society and its Future by Ted Kaczynski

I sujest anyone who wants to read mein kampf reserch the diffrent version that are out there.....I read theres a mainstream version wherein one of the translators was later discovered as a spy trying to sabotage the version they worked on after it had already gone to print. After looking into it apparently the translation by Ralph Manheim is the truest representation. See attached pic of front cover you should look for.

Before hitler and for a few decades after the war most of europe's and America's population was what today would be described as "white nationalist", but then everyone tried to distance themselves politically from him and we ended up with the cancer we have today.

I would recommend reading the memoirs of Albert Speer, it's definitely more interesting than Mein Kampf

It's fun to read because it gives you a chance to get to know Hitler as a person and see how he developed over the years. What he went through was literally the same thing that happens to people on Jow Forums all the time.

Many of the opinions in Mein Kampf weren't his own, but stuff you could read a lot in right wing and volkish magazines or leaflets that were quite common before the end of WWI.
Slavs were seen as subhumans by many people before him and he was strongly influenced by the pre Weimar right wing literature. At one point he also mentions buying them during his time in Vienna.

It has a huge bibliography which is cited of Hitler's personal speeches, seized Nazi documents from archives and testimony from people who were with Hitler.
