Is PPL considered a brosplit?

Is PPL considered a brosplit?

I think that brosplit is more specific. I think that people who do that shit have chest day, arm day, back day, leg day, tricep day, bicep day. It honestly seems retarded to me since they're pretty much taking an entire week to recover from 1 workout.

Ex: I always hear people say Monday is chest day. Why de fook do they work out chest once a week? They could just as easily do it 2-3 times as long as they get 48 hours of recovery in between

yeah, it is, its too much volume and frequency/not enough frequency. its hard on recovery and for neural adaptions from doing 10 exercises a day

Unpopular FACT:

PPL is the best routine for natural lifters if the volume and intensity is spread out appropriately.

It should be done like this

Push 1 - Chest>Shoulders(Middle/Front)>Triceps(optional)
Legs 1 - Quads > Hamstrings (Glutes) > Calves(optional)
Pull 1 - Back>Traps>Shoulders(Rear)>Biceps(optional)
Cardio 1 - Any cardio you want (optional)
Push 2 - Shoulders(Middle-Front)>Chest>Triceps(optional)
Legs 2 - Hamstrings (Glutes) > Quads > Calves(optional)
Pull 2 - Traps>Shoulders(Rear)>Back>Biceps(optional)
Cardio 2 - Any cardio you want (optional)

Whatever you start with first is heavy, and you use less and less weight the further the body-part is in the day.

Example - (Pull 2) will use heavy weights on Traps and moderate weights on Rear delts, but will use light weights for Back, where as (Pull 1) will use heavy weights for Back, but moderate weight for Traps and light weight for Rear delts.

No unless you do PPL over 3 days.

PPL is a 6 days training philosophy.

Yes, that's why everybody hates it.
Reddit memery bullshit by people who don't understand you need rest

Part 2:

Another method you can use

Legs 1
>Heavy as fuck on Quads, not to failure.
>Light as fuck on Hamstrings and Glutes, to failure.

Legs 2
>Heavy as fuck on Hamstrings and Glutes, not to failure.
>Light as fuck on Quads, to failure.

This way you're training for strength and intensity which are both predictors of Hypertrophy. You get the best of both worlds, without having to fully destruct your entire lower body, you only destruct half of it per session, and the other half opposing muscle group later in the week, while still hitting the entire lower body, just with different intensity, so everytime you train legs you're training everything, but each part is getting a different kind of stimulation.

you must be a DYEL if you believe that

6day PPL is terrible programming , you must be a NEET to pull it off

4U&L>6PPL

okay now write me a ppl routine with rep schemes based user

Bodybuilding is simple, you don’t need to do powerlifting style training to get gains.

Leg day 1

1.Squat 6x4, increase weight when all 6 sets are performed comfortably at the same weight
2.Stiff Leg Deadlifts 3xFailure, increase weight when 20 reps is easy.
3.Glute Bridge 3xFailure, increase weight when 20 reps is easy.
4.Standing Calf Raises 3xFailure, increase weight when 20 reps is easy.

Leg day 2 would start with Romanian Deadlifts 6x4, and would have 3xFailure Squats, etc.

Try lifting past SS

what about push and pull days? I'm almost intermediate btw

No, brosplit is the classic 5-day spit with each bodypart getting its own day. Monday chest, tuesday arms, wednesday back, thursday serratus anterior, etc.

The fact that you have to even ask this means you shouldn't be doing brosplit OR ppl. You're a guaranteed novice and should just do a fullbody program until you reach the point where you need to split things up for more recovery.

IMO 6 day is only realistic if you're /homegym/ because in that case you don't have to factor in all that extra commute time. But if you're doing 6 day PPL and driving to the gym 6 out of 7 days of the week, yeah, you're either a NEET or have a completely fucked social life balance.

Wrong, PPL is shit.

Small twinks

>a program that works each of your muscle group twice a week
>is it brosplit?
gee I wonder

>Small twinks

HOW DYEL CAN ONE MAN BE

as you progress you can handle more volume you dumb mong

I can easily recover from 24x series a week not counting isolations lol

The main issue I have with various split programs (PPL, UL, brosplit, etc) is that they never actually specify how the fuck progression is supposed to work. No specified mixes of intensity and volume. No set way for progression. There's basically no programming whatsoever. "lol just add moar weight" only fucking works when you're in noob gains territory.

None of this matters

I warm up with you maxes, kiddo.

>not doing bulgarian phrak’s phat phul ppl starting lifts 4x5 method

are you a dumb dyel or a dumber fat obeselifter?

topkek

t. would LITERALLY look like a child standing next to me or any other lifter in my gym

You pathetic twinkshits think you look good when you disappear wearing a shirt or standing in a crowd lmao

No, because you're still working multiple muscle groups per workout. It's not like you have a "quad day" or "calf day".
