i can do 10
120kg fatty btw

Today I got to 5 pullups, chest to bar from dead hang. that's my accomplishment, feels good

You people mean you're doing 8, 10, and 5 per set right?

I can do at least 8 per set, usually around four sets, and I'm not even Chad

fat manlet here
i can hit 20

I can do 24 - target is 30.

86kg

Weighted pull-ups using the exponent approach (6,5,4,3,2,1) got me there.

Additional weight weight is 10kg, start at 5% of bodyweight and work slowly up, my target is 15kg.

Per set?

>inb4 fags saying chin up and other non ROM shit

what the fuck? im around same weight and I can do 5x20kg. but without weights I dont think I can do more than 16 strict ones

>Idiot who thinks he won't get his full rom by doing chin-ups.
>Has biceps almost as tiny as his balls.

i do 20 @ 92kg
so no

70kg

Pull ups 5x5
Chin ups 5x6

I do one pull up and one chin up more each workout and i rotate pull ups and chin ups ea workout

AxBxAxB
xAxBxAx

So first A is 5 5 5 5 5 pull ups, second A will be 6 5 5 5 5, third A will be 6 6 5 5 5

Ill be doing this until I can do 5 x 10 on chins and pulls.

Once I do that I'll add weight, probably 5kg and see how I do. Once I work up to 5x10 with 5kg I'll move up to 10kg, or maybe 7.5 even.

When I started I couldn't do a single pull up but now currently did 25 in one work out so thats pretty cool. I started with negatives and pretty soon could do a pull up.

Pulls and chins are cool, thanks

I'm finally able to do unassisted chin-ups for 5, I'm slowly getting there but it feels good to be able to pull my fatass up.

22 chins at 70kg
Can also do 3x5 weighted with 25kg
To answer your question, probably

>chin up
What if I'm doing neutral grip?

I can do sets of 10 pull ups at 77kg if I'm starting fresh. Tried to do some yesterday after working back and bi's as my burn out. Could only manage 7 the first time, and 4 any other time I tried.

shawns got you covered

nice work fatbro

If you can do 8 and you're having trouble doing any more past that, you can hang extra weight from a chained belt and do 3-4 or even less reps depending the weight.
I couldn't go above 9 reps with my bodyweight and by doing this i was easily able to do 30+ in a couple of months. I would strap 20-30kg and even do just 3 struggling reps. You'll see a huge difference. Only downside is that your lats will develop so much you might not fit in your shirts

make sure your chin is way above the bar that you grab!

If I can't do chinups/pullups without rubber bands, and don't want to do them with those bands, what's a good exercise to get me trained for them?
Are barbell rows fine?

Im a poor dyel so I did cheat dumbbell rows for 50lb for 15 reps per set.
Ive been at it for 3 mos. and I can do 10-15 pullups per set for around 4-5 sets.
Idk about you but rows worked for me.
I also have a cheap fan rowing machine, but I doubt that has had as much of an effect.
