This guy is correct.
When I started lifting all of the older guys would tell me that protein powders were garbage and none of them used whey even though they were much bigger and stronger than me.

Now that I am the oldfag in the gym I understand what they were saying. Eating meat gives you protein and fat and b vitamins and minerals all perfectly balanced and delivered in a way that your body will be able to use it. A protein powder just gives you protein and none of the other things necessary for your body to be able to use it. My immediate post workout meal is 8oz of beef and a baked potato and it’s given better results than any supplement I’ve ever taken.

I guess you didn't know that whey has calcium alongside all of the other shit usually found in milk, just like pea protein has iron, omega 3's, calcium, zinc, magnesium.
You think protein powders only have protein in it?
I don't know the exact numbers but for pea protein for example, even if isolated, a scoop has more than 40% of the RDA of iron and around 30% of zinc and calcium.
