Shirt sizes

Do you wear tight shirts? I have wide shoulders but a flat stomach and a small is kind of small for my shoulders but a medium is too big everywhere else.

Buy muscle-fit tshirts.

If you wear dress shirts, take them to the nice indian man in the market to have them adjusted to fit.

checked. also in general I wear fairly tight shirts. Not ridiculously so that I look like a faggot, but still. The issue, like you pointed out, is that shirts that fit your chest/shoulders will typically be too large for your waist. So the shirts end up draping over the waist, making you look barrel-shaped.

For dress shirts I get try on various slim/athletic-fit shirts until I find ones that work. The issue with these is that often the extra fabric in the waist causes it to all bunch up and poof out in your lower back. You could always taken them to a tailor though.

>Medium
>wide shoulders
Not gonna make it

you'll have to tailor your shit, it comes with the territory.
buy shirts that fit at the shoulder, have them taken in (or take them in yourself).
it varies in cost depending on the tailor, but it's a cheap alteration usually.

C'mon kid

I don't like tight shirts because I have big shoulders and they end up tight around my pits and I get sweat stains that show.

I wear a medium. They are usually a little small at the shoulders, but if I buy a large, the large is too wide or too long.

I would normally wear pants in a 31-33 or 31-34, but they almost never have those sizes. Sizes aren't that precise....I have 32-32 pants that fit well, and I've had some that are way too tight.

This. You only get a pass with a size small if you're a true manlet. Medium to large is perfect for most fit people, depending on build.

For actual advice, always get shirts sized properly in the shoulders, neck and armholes. Sleeves and the majority of the torso can be inexpensively altered. Anything else will usually cost more that the shirt itself, or may not even be possible. For pants, size the upper thigh, seat (ass) and rise (the stitching along the fly) properly, and the legs can easily be altered all the way down, and the waist can be taken in, but usually can't be taken out more than an inch if at all.

There's an extraordinary variation in different brands of shirts of the same size.

Get something athletic. Ideally in the Long cut. Oh, you're shopping at a pleb place that has no long length shirts and/or you are a manlet? KYS
