The same 10 or so competitors were spread across all the men's classes. There was only one girl for women's physique and all the others did bikini. Most of the audience bailed after the first half and the whole thing felt garish and fake.

OP here. The female guest poser was a roided up 32 year old single mom who has done the Arnold before. You could see the crazy in her eyes. She looked totally dead inside. Most of the competitors did even though they were smiling.

Pretty much it. Bodybuilding should never be a goal in itself, because you'll just reach a dead end. Do what makes you happy, and lift to keep healthy and look good, but don't go down that rabbit hole. There is a pit of depression and at the bottom (just look at Jay Cutler).
