Something like Doctor or law enforcement is prestigious. Women can brag about it to their friends. There is a severe downside to chasing a comfy job that may make some bucks, but is gibberish and/or boring to the layman. You may have some money but a woman will never say try to explain to her girlfriends what you do because they won't care.
