Olympic squat

How can I achieve the flexibility to do an Olympic squat? I have long femurs and I am 184 cm tall.

>I have long femurs and I am 184 cm tall.

You don't. Deadlift and lunges only lankfag

>I have long femurs
I know that pain, combined with a short torso my back squat almost has a horizontal back. Give up and try front squats or zercher squats. Otherwise lunges or leg press are your only option.

get some addipowers and start stretching your ankles.

>give up
good morning squats are due to shit flexbility and mobility, stop being a lazy fuck and do some stretches

Shut up gimli

I'm two cm taller than you and my squat is lower than pic related

Which stretches are good for building my flexibility on the ATG squat?

>184 cm
So... Six foot tall? Lol
Not nearly tall enough to worry about mobility issues

post pic

Is it really that unbelievable? Everyone I know 6ft+ who lifts has an ATG squat.

This. 184 cm is six foot, I'd think you'd have to be at least 6'6 and up to have mobility issues stemming from height

I'm short, but I have the same question
My leverage isn't bad, but I've been sitting in chairs for most of my life.
What stretches are the best? How many times per day/how long should I do them?

1) going into deep squat position, putting your arms up on each quad and pushing out
2)going into deep squat position and then putting your hands on the ground, keeping them there as you start to go back up to standing position
3) sitting in front of wall, set your feet as wide as possible on the wall, pushing your hips into the wall and keeping good posture. find a position that hurts and stretches your hips, and keep yourself in that position until it hurts...less? so like, 8-10 minutes ideally

not him, but how do i fix my balance while squatting low? I always fall to the back

That enough stretches, what about ankle stretches?

Thats a sign of poor ankle and hip mobility. Work on ankle dorsiflexion stretches/ exercises and stretch your hip flexors (google Couch stretch)

Do you plan on competing in weightlifting? If no there's no reason to squat like a weightlifter.

alright, thanks user, I really need to work on that
Also, do you have any tips when it comes to knee pain?
I was cycling a few months ago, everything seemed to be fine till I got to the gym
Then my right knee is sometimes in pain, when I try to squat, even if I do just bw squats.
Got to a doc, that fucker "examined" me for a couple of minutes, told me I have chondromalacia, and took 20 euros from me
Apparently, it affects both knees the same, but I never got any pain from my left knee.
I had injuries on my right knee before, but the last time I got one was over 10 years ago.

I like more the aesthetics of an Olympic squat.

How do I increase shoulder mobility for holding the squat low back, I can't do lowback without forcing my shoulders to their limit, and I literally can't even bend them that far without the weight being loaded up and racked (Ie, if I just do it with holding the bar, it's not even heavy enough to push down into that position, the bar is pretty much resting on my neck), I'm worried that if the bar slips or I have to ditch the weight my shoulder will go Kaboom!

So far on my off days I've been holding a broomstick in the low back position and pushing forward against a doorway (So basically, my body going through the doorway, but both ends of the stick catching on the doorway) until just before it becomes painful. I've also been holding the stick above my head like a fully locked OHP and then bending my arms back as far as I can. Will this do anything for me?
