I have constand anxiety attacks where i feel like im choking, chest starts to burn and i faint.
This can happen up to 10 times during the day no matter what. i have tried breathing calmly but it doesnt help especially when my chest muscles are being pulled.
At this point I am just constantly in bed because i cant do anything. Im just used to this now.
So explain why my body is doing this to me when I just dont care.
Doctors wont do anything. none of the drugs they gave me stopped the attacks even though i have been rushed to emergency once for trying to kill myself over this.
oh and since breathing exercises actually prolong an attack, i just let it happen so i faint

My gf has this shit happen once or twice a month. Would like to know more about it. Bump

Maybe it's a physical heart problem? Irregular heartbeats can in turn be caused a a whole lot of things, including medication.
Benjamin Hernandez
I have a irregular heartbeat and the doctors told me it was normal.

OP, do any of the following describe you - have had traumatic (physical or emotional) events happen in the last 2 years - have had any out of body experiences within the last 2 years - have a fear of death/fear of dying that manifests in everyday life (driving, walking at night) - are a hypochondriac - major dietary changes in last 2 years

Noticed i had a iregular heartbeat and thought nothing of it until it started waking my up at night
tested my blood pressure and it is in the extremely high category, was prescribed beta blockers.
I lost 20kg but still sometimes eat pizza.
up until last week drank whiskey 2-3 times a week.

I find that when I have these problems there's always an underlying problem/trauma and you really have to idenitfy it and work through it mentally trust me it gets better man.

No i think mine is chemical/physical because im unhealthy as fuck. i can feel fucking blood clots in my legs and brain.
Jason Davis
Not trying to shill, but I just discovered the magic herb known as kava. Very soothing and gentle.
Luke Ross
well thats an easy fix so stop complaining you faggot. Do cardio at least 3x a week, eat somewhat healthy and lift if you want to as well and that'll probably fix your issues.
Isaac White
Something is seriously stressing you. Possibly from school/work or social life. Find out what it is and find ways to address it. I usually had them before project deadlines and presentations.
Ian Ortiz
I literally can't leave my bed because i will faint. im well past lifting.
Anthony Cruz
ok tomorrow morning when you wake up drink some coffee or water, but dont eat, then go for a 5km run. It literally sets you up for the rest of the day.
Have you ever held your breath too long or drowned?
If your blood doesnt have enough oxygen your brain will try to protect itself by shutting everything down to bare minimum.
Nolan Lee
Sounds like normie advice but, workout at a calmer pace, try to inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth (helps if you do it with tightly shut lips). Also, get 8 hours of sleep a night, take zinc, and finally mew (search "mewing").
Joseph Hughes
Reduce stress in your life. Talking to someone you're comfortable with. That also understands how to handle a panicking person is good to count on too
Justin Smith
>irregular >normal
What kind of shit doctors do you go see? Are you living under Socialism? “Free healthcare”?

user I had a similar problem when I was about 22/23, it appeared out of nowhere. I had always been very fit but I started to have sudden episodes of rapid heart beats and the cardiologists always said it's panic and stress even though I wasn't stressed at all. I had been dealing with that shit for like two years. Even ended up in the ER a couple of times because I thought I was getting a heart attack, docs never found anything. Anyway, two years later my dentist decided to give a tooth of mine a root canal. That tooth got a really deep filling about two years before that but it still hurt every now and then but I didn't think anything of it. Now guess what, since my dentist killed the nerve and gave my tooth a root filling, I havent had a single one of these rapid heart beat attacks. Not a single one for 4 years.
Charles Perry
unironically. the chemical jew helped immensely with my panic attacks. just don't stay on it for longer than 6 months
Jose Lopez
Im guessing you've tried this, but you're probably hyperventilating , try just putting ur shirt/jumper over your mouth and nose and breathing into that for a while next time it happens. not a doctor but ive experience similar things.
Brayden James
I use to have frequent panic attacks, the feeling of your body burning up before your heart takes off was the worst. They don't happen to me much anymore I think getting fit helped a lot. They seem to come in bursts now and I can go weeks to months without them it's just random.
