Ok Jow Forums I need this answered once and for all.

Is eating the same thing every day really bad for you or is that just a meme normies tell themselves?

I eat at least one chicken breast a day with vegetables but everyone tells me that it's bad to eat like that. As long as the meals I'm eating every day have variety in and of themselves, that should be fine, right?

Attached: iStock_000010753409Large.jpg (2200x2234, 1.87M)

Sounds to me like you're hanging out with a bunch of gains goblins.

Its bad. Similar to muscles, once you get used to a movement/food it looses its effect. You have to vary the foods to confuse the stomach.

Bro I have been eating almost nothing but chiken breasts for past 10 good years, its perfect food for those who hate eating and cooking, everyone around me takes the piss that its not healthy, but in reality they just can't fathom sticking to healthy easy lean food

That's literally the dumbest shit I've ever heard.
Op, as long as you have a varied diet and your getting all your macro & micronutrients you should be fine. It's better to vary your diet but as long as you aren't eating shit food you'll be fine.

I’m no expert but look at animals. Most have the same exact foods in their diet every day, and they do fine. Pretty sure this is the equivalent of someone saying “all that protein will destroy your kidneys!” while drinking a coke and downing a big mac

It is possibly to develop insensitivity to certain foods due to over-exposure, but usually that just means things like nuts or other allergenic foods

you seem to have alot of toxic ppl around you.

i speak from experience here:
i have 2 6-month cycles in a year, which means i eat the same thing basically 6 months in a row
if you make sure you have variety in the day itself, and get the required macros AND micros, its really not unhealthy.

dont forget 90% of ppl know jack shit about nutrition

It's "bad" in the sense that it can get boring, which can make it harder to keep up with the diet. But if you like it, who fucking cares, just keep doing it.

Normies are stuck with the mindset that "dieting" is something temporary you do rather than an entire lifestyle overhaul, so they come up with loads of bullshit like that to rationalize eating badly when they should be eating shit like chicken breast, veggies, and brown rice

If you like it do it, but you should probably change it up sometimes or you are likely to become literally incapable of eating it and not vomiting any more.

What I do is make one crock pot thing for a week, then make a different crock pot thing for the next week.

>Similar to muscles, once you get used to a movement/food it looses its effect.

That's really what I figure. I've eaten chicken and veggies for dinner almost every night for a few years now and I feel fine. I'm not tired of it because when I don't want to eat chicken I just cook steak instead.

>taking the bait
user...

It's not "bad" but you should switch it up every six weeks or so. Not drastically, but maybe a different breakfast or something.

It's been a while.

No, it’s horseshit. Food is food. You either eat to live, or live to eat - don’t overcomplicate if you’re the former. Keep it simple, fresh and cheap.

only bad if you got deficiencies. Make sure to eat greens and fruit too

>being this new
lurk moar

people throughout history pretty much ate a mono diet. you'll be fine. you'll prolly get mogged by chef chad though.

If you're really afraid about it just interchange chicken with fish, pork, shrimp, beef every now and then.

>People taking this post as serious bait or as an actual post

Summer never ends

Literally every post on this board could fall into one of those two categories you dense fuck

You might be missing out on important nutrients if you eat the same things everyday. If your diet is low in niacin, to keep eating the same foods means a continual deficit. Also, if there is anything harmful in it-e.g. mercury-to keep eating it can build up those levels

I hate retards who have an autistic fit over the concept of eating the same meal 5-7 days a week. I've eaten everything they've eaten 1000 times before I don't need anymore ~variety~ in my diet. Just let me eat my chicken and rice in peace.

>he drinks the same kind of water every day

how do you prepare it?

newfag

Do I need to carry the foods or can I just prepare them differently? Like scrambled eggs on Monday and over easy eggs on Tuesday.

Depends. Some cooking methods denature the protiens making it easier to pas through your system. Recall in the fourth law of thermodynamics that

It is very bad for you...
If you aren't supplementing with vitamins.

We probably didn't have access to a wide variety of food in the past so just ate what was available. Variety is just a way to jew your money away.

yeah it is bro you gotta confuse the cells

PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN BREASTS EDIBLE

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD

Here's a way even dipshits like you can do it.
Cut them into thin strips, then apply whatever prepackaged chicken seasoning mix you want.
Then just throw them in the oven for half an hour at a reasonable temp or on the Weber for 10 minutes each side

Attached: chicken-seasoning-49g.png (379x1000, 738K)

>Then just throw them in the oven for half an hour at a reasonable temp or on the Weber for 10 minutes each side
please explain

Put them on a baking tray of some kind, I prefer ones with a little rack, but you can put it on just a flat tray with baking paper if you want.
Turn your oven on medium and let it heat up for 10 minutes or so.
Put the chicken tray into the oven and leave it there for 20 - 30 minutes.

For extra flavor use chicken thighs instead of breasts.
Not as lean, but taste way better

I have a Microwave overn and it has stuff like Micro, Grill, Convection, Auto Defrost, Auto Roast, etc written on it. Which button do I press?

one meal isn't giving you everything you need, that's why it needs to vary you idiot

I cook chicken tits in 4 minutes total. Grilled tendies to eat with chik fil a sawce.

The fuck?

Oh OP... He means an Electric/Gas Oven you absolute veggie brainlet

Are these the same normies who binge on shit, exclusively drink soda and eat sandwiches/chips for their lunch ? Followed by microwave meals for dinner.

Also me,
Take 2x breasts
1 onion
1 can tinned tomatoes
2 peppers
1 cup of paella rice
Dash of chilli oil
1 each of veg/chicken stock
Garlic (crushed or finely sliced)
Fry off veg, add chicken (cut up) add rice, add tomatoes, add stock cubes and a little water, reduce down, add peas and whatever seasoning you want

Tell me how cycling food into your diet for the micronutrients/Vitamins isn't a good thing.
Also tell me when you last took a nutrition course.

It's fine. Especially when you realize most people's "variety" is just a Jew meme.

"Oh yes goyim, please have one of my many breakfast cereals this morning! Then some flour based pastry with processed meat! Such variety!"

People say that because the average person, if given the choice, would eat absolute shit every day.

What the fuck are you on about?
OP mentions having a base meal (presumably for his lunch at work/school)
Normies, who I assume eat like shit, berate him for his one meal of choice.
Next in swoops the fucking great autismo (>You) bleating about credentials for having an opinion on someone’s query.
Have a day off lad

I'm pretty sure the 99% of these people have the same breakfast every day with very little varation so they're ipocrit.
As others anons said, as long as you don't eat shit and you enough you're fine.

>on the weber
Boomer spotted

A microwave over is literally an Electric oven you retard

Top kek

If you eat exclusively one or two foods, like chicken and rice, then yes it's bad. At least for protein sources.
Protein bioavailability of a food for some reason goes down when it's consumed too frequently and without alternating with others.
But if you ate 3 different meals with a few protein sources and balanced veg, etc. it's probably fine.
A varied diet could go towards ensuring you're getting some trace nutrients that might be absent from certain foods but if you eat well enough that shouldn't be a problem (remember that micronutrient profiles you get on cronometer etc aren't consistent since actual levels in foods depends on the soil it was grown in or whatever it eats was grown in).

The one downfall for some people may be that variety in diet is supposedly good for mental health, but I'm assuming that's more to do with getting bored of or not really liking certain foods. I'm fine with eating a few dishes repeatedly but I've met people who literally can't understand this and get bored with having the same leftovers for more than a day. If you fucking love steak and eggs without compare for example, it might be better for your emotional wellbeing to eat it every night instead of pasta night, chicken night, curry night, etc.

I have the same question only with chilli cheese burgers from bk, they are my biggest weakness

Attached: bk_web_chillicheese-burger_500x540.png (500x540, 70K)

i've eaten eggs and bacon for breakfast and chicken and rice for dinner for months now and my bloodwork and blood pressure is normal

i do take multivitamins though

If your macros and micros on point then no. This is hard for normies to do.

Nah, there also are copypastas.

Sauce?

I have eaten the same meal for lunch and dinner for the past 3 months
It's okay user

answer my question and I'll post nudes

Add chicken, hot sauce, salt pepper paprika etc and cream into a oven container and cook it for 25 min at 200 degree C

Can anyone recommend cheap but filling meals?
I always comes away from eating still feeling hungry, which leads to snacking on sugary shite.

Try grilling cheese maybe?

Fills me up.

>Is eating the same thing every day really bad for you or is that just a meme normies tell themselves?
I have eaten the same thing everyday for 3 years, user, while donating blood every 2 months.

Nothing wrong with me, blood work was flawless.

until you get enough fiber so that you can shit
you can eat the same shit everyday
and if you're worried buy a multivitamin
and eat a few fruits from time to time
that's what i do.

I eat the same shit every day but it tends to be quite 'diverse' in its micronutrients so I figure its ok.

Milk+Oats for breakfast. Sometimes I have gluten free toast with peanut butter instead.

2 Salmon fillets and 2-3 eggs for lunch, with a massive salad, I love salad goddamn. 30g of kale, 30g of spinach, 120g of cherry tomatoes, 80g of radish and 80g of spring onion.

For snacks I have an apple, some sort of nut like sunflower seeds or almonds, around 100ml of ice cream.

In terms of supplements I have a protein shake and a protein bar a day. I think I've got most of my bases covered desu.

How the fuck you afford all that salmon?

Its not that bad, costs around £3 for 2 fillets. Its not super cheap but its better than eating out all the time which was a thing I used to do.

I always forget that most people on here are only buying food for themselves. Salmon is a rare treat when you have to buy for 6

This. Our ancestors lived at one place and had literally 1-3 food sources over the course of their whole life. People near the sea just ate fish and some meme plant of their choosing, cavemen ate the same prey and berries all day long. The body adapted to all kinds of food, probably doesn't make a difference wether you eat "diverse" or not.

Hunter-gatherers used to eat very varied diets but as long as you pick micronutrient-dense foods like eggs and organ meats you're ok.

Your ancestors ate the same things everyday in nature. Animals eat the same things everyday. You don't need all kinds of manmade bullshit imported from all over the world to be healthy. Eat chicken everyday man, it's fine. You don't need the vegetables, they are a meme. Any nutrients you can find in vegetables, you can find ten times more and more easily absorbable in animal products. Stop listening to these cucked normies, they know nothing, they just repeat whatever they hear, never actually do any research of their own.

HHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA

I laughed in public like an autist, thanks bud

I would vary a bit from time to time. Maybe have 4-6 dishes to choose from and have one for some weeks, then the next. It's up to you, in the end.

By the way: Our ancestors did not necessarily have the same food every day. They went with the course of the seasons and ate what was ripe and ready at that time and added things they could store.

>right, babe?

how do those people look?

>You don't need the vegetables

>It's bait it's bait!!
No, it's a joke, and it's a funny one

Frozen salmon fillets can be had for dirt cheap ($3/lb near me). If you're good at cooking they will turn out better than fresh salmon cooked by someone that is only mediocre at cooking.

Tell me why you need them when you're getting more nutrition from animal products without all of the compounds that hinder mineral absorption. Tell me why.

that small list of minerals/vitamins is not the whole picture for human nutrition needs

also fibre

That small list is just an example of how there is much more vitamins/minerals in meat. Go look up other nutrients and you'll find meat is a better source of them as well.

Fibre is useless. Causes constipation, damages the gut. I haven't had fibre in months and I'm fine, regular bowel movements, digestion is better.
