i really want to step up in life even if it means in living in this fucked up society of boomer greedy jews, feminists, sjws... this fatherless generation
life is not looking good so far
just need a few other ideas on how to step up to my parents and tell them i am really an adult
lifes tough for all of us anons all of us are suffering
i also signed up for computer sci major into programming is that shit guys
>how do i convince parents i am grown up and ready to leave house why do you need to convince your parents? what will this achieve for you? what is it about your parent's confirmation that makes you seek it out?
the older you get the more you realize that you're not a grown-up, and neither is anyone else there are people who have their shit together. they exist. this is a fact. but a lot of people are just kinda winging shit and have bit and pieces figured out when you're 18 you feel like you're on top of the world you've always been a small-time thug and suddenly you're a big boy, suddenly you're allowed to do all these things you could never do beforehand people finally look at you in a different manner no longer are you a child you are now a young adult but don't mistake this for being grown up you never cease to grow, and you most definitely never cease to learn don't delude yourself into thinking otherwise
stop worrying about how people perceive you you don't have time for that no one has time for that why would you waste your precious time on such a silly and trivial matter?
if you want to step up in life and make things happen, then do so no one is stopping you people, generally speaking, want others to succeed there is no reason to wish anyone ill what do you gain from wishing bad tidings onto others? schadenfreude is a thing, sure, but wouldn't you rather see someone succeed through difficult times so that you can learn from their experiences and use them to improve yourself?
you don't need advice you need to go make shit happen go make it happen user go live your life what are you waiting for?

that's understandable man, we've all been through these things but it's important to decide whether you will let your emotions reign you or whether you'll reign over your emotions indulge yourself in your interests and lose yourself in your hobbies while not everyone will find eventually find somebody, being passionate about things you greatly enjoy will make you a more appealing partner to others would you enjoy having a depressed neet for a partner that does nothing but sit at home being smelly because they're too lazy to shower and can't be arsed to do chores around the house? it's important to get your shit together not just for yourself, but also for your community you affect others without realizing you do the less you worry about finding someone, whether they be friends or a potential spouse, the more likely it is you'll stumble into those exact people
it'll be okay user you need to believe in yourself the reason why that is important is because no one can do things for you no one can live your life for you no one can make you enjoy things no one can make life exciting for you no one can change your way of living only you hold this power it doesn't matter how much your parents love and support you if you're still sitting on your ass playing games all day at the end of it all only you can make a positive change in your life start small, man create new neural pathways the more often you do things you have trouble doing the more easier it will become only by overcoming difficulties will you, eventually, get on the right track towards living a healthier, more successful, and happier life
do it for you

what is your ethnicity? I have a feeling you're not a white op. non white families are simply more overbearing I guess, and more family orientated. More smothering, not allowing their children to be individuals on their own. personally if I were you I'd try not to go against the grain too much unless you have a good reason. you may go on to find that the Anglo white American mode of going out on your own as soon as you turn 18 may not be to your liking after all.
t. non white in a similar situation
Ethan Ross
...i am a white person user anon, a lot of us go through the same pain... you're not alone
