Is there a good starting program for lardass beginners other than ss?

is there a good starting program for lardass beginners other than ss?

keep doing SS but just drop the calories/GOMAD if you're getting too fat dumbfuck

Just lift more. This is my routine. Slightly adapted from the base.
Really it's just the base with accessories. You do know to add accessories to SS right?
I've been stalling on the bicep curl though so I'm probably going to switch it out for a few weeks to a dumbbell hammer curl across the body, and then do the hammer curl on one and the barbell curl on the other.
You're probably putting a lot of weight on based on your diet. Tell me you're not doing GOMAD.
If you're a fatass, you should balance your nutrition carefully to maximize protein while minimizing your calories.
It's harder for you than a thin person who can just put on some fat while they bulk and then cut down.

A
Squats 5x5
Bench Press 5x5
Bent-Over Barbell Row 5x5
Bicep Curl 3x8
Tricep Extension 3x8
Face Pulls 3x8
Farmer's Walks 3x

B
Squats 5x5
Overhead Press 5x5
Deadlift 1x5 (Romanians for reps on the lower weights to get more total volume)
Close-Grip Bench 3x8
Bicep Curl 3x8
Lat Downs 3x8 (too heavy to do pullups)

With whatever time is left I flip tires in the yard.
On the off days I ride my bicycle.

then how do i put on muscle? and build my endurance?

>Tell me you're not doing GOMAD.
im not
>you should balance your nutrition carefully to maximize protein while minimizing your calories.
im trying but i cant do it that well (not a lack of willpower, other factors)

You need to explain those other factors or it will be difficult to help you solve it.

i live with my parents (its a cultural thing) and they are vegetarians (im not). ive tried arguing and asking them to let me cook for myself but it hasnt worked. i have managed to get them to let me eat healthier though, although that doesnt mean much

See if they will let you buy and use pea protein powder (if they won't allow whey protein powder).
If they're only vegetarian then they might be alright with milk. I strongly recommend whey protein instead of pea protein. Also since you're looking to lose weight and get strong, try to get whey protein isolate. It reduces the fat and carb in it (which you will get plenty in your diet normally), and is only slightly more expensive.

Also how the hell are they vegetarians forcing you vegetarian and you're fat? I'm not judging, I'm genuinely curious.

It sounds like they're fatties who think eating potato chips all day is healthy just because it's vegetarian.

yeah i have protein powder. should i switch to too? so i can do cardio?

>Also how the hell are they vegetarians forcing you vegetarian and you're fat? I'm not judging, I'm genuinely curious.
mostly my fault, i had a very sedentary lifestyle.

>It sounds like they're fatties who think eating potato chips all day is healthy just because it's vegetarian.
they arent bad people honestly, and i dont want to annoy them if they dont want me making meat. they already let me have chicken for protein once a week already.

I find that MyProtein has absurdly good price for quality, and there's a great sale right now (30%).

What kind of protein powder?
If it's whey protein, consider switching to whey isolate. It's a huge difference.

Also, are you counting your calories? Try planning your meals and counting your calories. You really need to focus on this part, because if you don't know how much gas you're putting in the tank, how will you know if you've over-filled or under-filled it?

>is there a good starting program for lardass beginners other than ss?
any program BUT ss is a good program for lardass beginners

If you're putting on too much weight it has nothing to do with your program. You're eating too much. Period.

ill look into it, thanks

i realized

what about endurance? i can barely run for 2 minutes

Don't run goddamn it unless you want to destroy your knees. Wait until you lose weight to run.
Do cardio with farmer's walks, elliptical, bicycling, tire flips, really anything that isn't high-impact.

Then run more? Throw in some cardio after your workouts. Increase it gradually overtime as you gain endurance. I guarantee as long as you eat enough, a little cardio won't make you "lose gains" you can still gain weight make gains and do cardio.

Here is a smoothie recipe I've been doing for breakfast:
1/2 cup strawberry greek yogurt, 1/2 cup almond milk, 1 scoop protein powder, 1tbs cocoa powder, 1 tsp stevia.

Normal but sensible lunch.

Dinner is pork/chicken/steak and some veggies.
No refined sugar allowed and avoid stuff with lots of refined carbs.

Workout schedule looks like so:
Mon-Thurs
Home Pull + Legs:
>Warm up (bodyweight):20 sit ups, 20 pushups, 20 calf extensions, 20 squats
>Windshield Wipers 3x10
>Dumbbell Deadlift 3x8
>Dumbbell Curls 3x8
>Dumbbell Row 3x8 each arm
>Lat raise 3x8
>Band pull apart 3x10
>Dumbbell Farmers Walk 3x?

Home Push + Legs:
>Warm up (bodyweight):20 sit ups, 20 pushups, 20 calf extensions, 20 squats
>Ab Roller forward/left/right 10 each
>Dumbbell Squat Clean and Press 3x8
>Dumbbell Standing Calf Extension with Shoulder Shrug 3x12
>Dumbbell Incline bench 3x8
>Dumbbell Tricep Extension 3x8
>Wrist Roller 5 rolls each way x3
>Floor Dumbbell Fly 3x8

Sunday is a short full body workout followed by kettlebells, rowing machine and a run for cardio. (gym)

Fri/sat are free days to eat and drink whatever.
Decent results after about 3 months and pretty easy to maintain.

then how do i put on muscle? and build my endurance?

The only reason people are told to eat more is usually because they are skellingtons. If you already have the calories on your body (your fat) then you don't need a surplus. Just make sure to get some protein in you for muscle recovery. In fact, burning off fat will increase your test levels and make you stronger so keep at it

okay

>run
>don’t run

thanks for the recipie/routine brother

okay, thank you
so gainz wont be slower if i do cardio with ss?

i dont like spoonfeeding, so here you go user:
>Dont bulk, cut (read about this)
>Do any program that its full body 3 times a week
>start slowly with the cardio
>focus on progressive overload

Do other kinds of cardio instead of running, running is very hard on the knees especially when you are heavy.

check out greyskull lp book, there is a chapter where the program is adjusted for cardio and fat loss
