You guys are really confusing me all the time, first you tell me that in a cut i cant eat 6 meals a day because it will peak my insulin and i wont lose weight, then you tell me that this is a meme and now again that not to do 6 meals but only 3, what is the final consensus then ? can i spread my 1500 kcal in 6 meals or it must be 3 max a day to lose weight?

1500kcal sounds very little btw, I'd go for 1,8-2,2k, but ofc depends on your weight/exercise amount and stuff.

There is evidence for that "time restricted eating" is beneficial for body composition due to the effect that it has on hormones, which means getting all your food intake within 12 hours of one another will be beneficial. 8 hours might be more benificial, and there are people doing more extreme shit. But in the beginning, if you just focus on sticking to your diet and lifting (VERY important if you're losing weight to mitigate muscle loss), and even manage to eat everything within 12 hours, you should be very well on your way.

At the end of the day, Calories In Calories Out determines whether you're gain or lose weight. However, there's more to it in terms of things like body partitioning and trying to make as most of the weight lost be from adipose tissue. Hormones are also important as well. Sure, you can cut by just eating snickers bars, but just eating a bunch of sugar is going to keep you hungry as fuck the entire time and just makes it that much harder to not give in to the cravings for food.

Spiking insuilin just means you will lose lose more muscle and lose weight slower.

Raw eggs are pretty nice for cutting, as they contain almost no carbs and therefore don't spike your insulin and still provide you a plethora of easy-to-absorb nutritiens (As long as you eat the egg-clear and yolk together)
