If you are in it for fat loss omad is a great way to go and makes it real easy to do keto as well.
For some. Personally I found myself using it as an excuse to binge eat. You're probably better off just making better food choices.

Eh, omad is fine but sometime you need to eat more.
I ate omad for 4 months but I couldn't sustain it while trying to gain weight. Especially since it's hard as fuck to even eat a big meal on omad since your stomach shrinks. I had to eat a small snack and then 1 hour later eat a big meal to even make sure I got enough.

OMAD sounds interesting. Two questions.
1. When should that meal happen? Breakfast, lunch, dinner? Sometime else?
2. What can I consume during the rest of the day? Coffee, water and chewing gums?

For normies, skipping breakfast means snacking all morning. They will snack after dinner, too. Going 16 hours without any calories isn't dufficult, but it is an enormous undertaking for a normie.
Dinner is probably the best time, going to bed hungry just sucks

Yeah, 16:8 is basically just "skip breakfast" and "no snacks before bedtime" mode. I barely even consider it to be IF. Frankly I would argue that unless it's OMAD it's not IF. It's hard to get used to it, but once you're used to it everything becomes easier and better.

Easy. You're not a vegetarian, right? Then chicken or beef do nicely. A great big steak or maybe even a whole rotisserie chicken from the grocery store. Complement with something extra on the side. It really helps if, like me, you plan your meals ahead and count your calories. I know what I'm eating and I cook it myself and it fills me up.
And when you go the whole day without eating all the time, you still feel the hunger but you can deal with it easily since you're so used to it and you go the whole day anyway.
If I've eaten my one meal and an hour later still feel like I need a little something, I just crack open a can of mackerel or sardines. Excellent protein with a little bit of fat. Not many calories, tasty and savory as fuck. It will fill you, and give you those good fish fats.
So really at this point my IF window is 23:1 because I don't let myself snack more than that. My whole problem was over-snacking, so I have to remove that possibility from my day.

Would tuna with some mayonnaise also work or would the mayonnasie be too much in your opinion?
not that guy but look for a light mayo or just make your own psuedo mayo with oil, egg yolk, and acid, either vinegar or lemon juice.
I'm more of a five small (400 cals) meals kind of guy. I've tried IF a few times before and no matter how good I am during my fast I always end up compensating for it later when I feed.

Is it worth doing IF when you dont have any problems being overweight? I am bulking at the moment and am considering it for the health benefits but I am not sure if they are there. Lots of different opinions...
I don't doubt omad, but that's a lifestyle that won't work for everyone. I'm social, I go out with friends, wife ect. 16:8 is at least versital enough that I can adjust it's window based on evening plans. might give 18:6 a shot

As close to 23:1 as I can manage. On Sunday I go to a restaurant with friends so it ends up being 22:2 then because it lasts about two hours.
It isn't strict. Some days I do use a window as big as 20:4, but never more than that.
Ultimately, just shoot for 22:2 and if you do OMAD that will happen naturally.
