So I just realized how my INFJ self does have a SJW tendency just like the meme . Yesterday I went to this folklore festival and there were 4 groups performing. The first one was really good, but the second one kinda sucked, so the applauses were weaker, and I then noticed how I was eagerly trying to applaud louder so they wouldnt feel bad or something. Of course I trust my own assessment more than some stupid test- most of them are trash, like the one that gets shilled here the hardest, similar minds (the op graph test). A few encounters with someone or a conversation about their interests, family life and opinions etc will give you a good guess. For example, E vs I is usually very simply figured out, followed by S vs N. After that it just takes a little bit more analysis to pin them down. Why are you so stupid? Yeah yeah yeah you can only do so much if someone is lying/not being themselves. All you can do is account for the possibility it is a front and then try to figure out why they would do that- you will never truly know what goes on in their head but at least we can guess. Most people however lack the discipline or stakes necessary to be deceptive for so long, so just assume that for the most part they are being truthful.
And the test is more flawed than my method. With a test, the questions and supposed specific criteria are flawed because the test cannot help you answer the question, you the test taker have to interpret the questions yourself which leads to ambiguity. An honestly some or most people lack any introspective ability or any realistic perception of how they are on this level. A total novice will not be able answer the questions with 100% accuracy unless you take the test with them. And besides, even people taking a test could lie about their answers to make themselves feel better or smarter about themselves (trying to get a cool xNTx). Not to mention, why do you so easily trust the algorithms made by other people? Trust yourself and your own judgment (after you gain the knowledge and experience). Anyways, the best way to deduce a type is to either educate the person (time consuming) so they can realize their type, take the test with someone who has known the person for a long time as well as yourself (to help with the jargon) to get very acute answers or to deduce them yourself by letting them act natural. The worst way is easily letting them take the test themselves.
