You still need to do that first rep. There’s no room for bullshitting on a 1RM like leaning back on OHP, lifting your ass up when benching or good-morning up a squat. It goes up or it doesn’t. Good deadlift form only prevents your spine from exploding, it doesn’t make it easier.

You don't lower it slowly because the only part you need to do to actually complete the rep is to lift it up. Now in a powerlifting meet they make you hold on to the barbell until it's on the floor but in training you don't have to and you'll get the same effect. Doesn't mean you should though.

Rows are the biggest ego lift, if you use straps and momentum, you can row 80% of your deadlift.
Other than rows, OHP/bench are the easiest to cheat. OHP, you just lean back and shoot the weight up, like the old olympics, lets you press over 50lbs more. bench you can arch, wide grip, touch and go and ass comes off the bench.
Squats you can good morning and low bar. Chinups, you can kip.
