The barbell goes through the holes in the plates, so you're really just lifting the plates and only using the barbell to achieve that.

For 4 plate deadlift you'll have 2 on each end.

I use both hands during each fap but only one at a time and I try to get 8-12 reps, or strokes, in before I switch again. Forearm veins started busting out by week 4, definition shows once you get to week 5 or so but the veins are the most important

Generally Jow Forums likes to say this is acheivable for anyone with 6-12 months of SS.

In reality, for someone average height (5'10) and 180lbs (pretty good if lean for a natty, technically overweight lol), this represents proficient or advanced lifts for all exercises but OHP.

This is defined as:

>Advanced: The lifter has taken a consistent and structured approach to strength training and dieting for multiple years. At this level, the individual is among the strongest in an average commercial gym. Many in this category compete in strength sports.

Or essentially, it's a bullshit standard for noobs. If you want to be lean and are 5'9-6'1, these will be somewhat difficult to hit for 90% of men.

It's by no means impossible though. Also I think Symetrical Strength has its OHP standards way too high. It doesn't define standing OHP from a clean rest vs seated OHP from pins at neck level. My five rep max is 135 on the former, 155 on the second, it's not the same exercise

Yeah, but I expect none the less as it's the same as any online strength tool. It's all influenced by people E-stating and brings the mean lifts up higher.
